Wonderful home from home

I had the pleasure of Janet and Wayne looking after my son Oscar for around 2 years before we relocated and he started school.

Oscar absolutely loved his time with them and I can honestly say there was no one else I’d rather have caring for him. He would always talk about things he did with them and we could see how much he developed with them. They were always going to playgroups, the park, exploring, and even when staying at their setting, there was no shortage of things to do inside or out!

They were brilliant at keeping me updated regularly throughout the day, sending home some very lovely artwork Oscar created, and would always support us if we were struggling with his sleep/eating/tearful phases as all parents do.

I worked awkward hours at times and they never complained and were always very flexible which is rare and unbelievably helpful these days!!!!

If we hadn’t moved out of area, I wouldn’t hesitate to send our newborn there.

Reliable and friendly childminders

Janet and Wayne are excellent childminders. They have a really nice home setting for the children and welcomed us so warmly when we joined them, we instantly knew our boisterous boys (then 4 and 8) were going to settle in quickly, and they did.

We dropped the boys off in the morning to their home and Wayne did the school runs for the boys and took them to the park after school on most days. If we had to make alternative arrangements on a day due to unexpected circumstances, Janet was very responsive to messages.

Even on a personal level, Janet and Wayne were really caring and listened to us when we explained about our eldest's background. They were even genuinely concerned when I was in hospital and Janet checked in on me too.

Highly recommended.

Home from home environment

My daughter Ellen went to Janet and Waynes for about 2 and half years and helped her become a bright fun loving polite little girl.
Ellen was so sad to leave but due to moving out the area was to far to travel.
Would highly recommend, its a home from home experience and they were always ready to help with a big smile.

Highly recommend!

Janet and Wayne have been fabulous for our son, Rian. He really loved his time with them and all the great activities he did with his friends together.

He brought home so many lovely arts and crafts and always spoke about the things he did.

We are sad that we had to leave them because we have moved to different area but highly recommend Janet and Wayne as they are truly helpful and great child-minders.

Sad to say goodbye!

Janet & Wayne cared for Ollie for almost 5 years and what an excellent job they did!
They started looking after Ollie full time and then went on to part time when he started school.
I had the opportunity between these times to send Ollie to nursery at the school he was due to attend but he was so happy with Janet & Wayne, that he stayed with them until starting in reception.
Leaving Ollie with them was like leaving him with family ... I knew he was always safe, well looked after, entertained & fed good home cooked meals (which he loved!)
They’d go out on trips to the park and to playgroups which Ollie enjoyed. I also loved being able to see what Ollie has been upto through his babysdays diary. Seeing pictures of him having fun and being so happy while I was at work made me feel less guilty for leaving him which alot of us working mums can relate to!
I couldn’t recommend Janet & Wayne enough, in fact, my friends little girl is now with them too.
I was so sad to say goodbye to them when I went on maternity leave with my second child ... I thought Ollie might be there forever!
I still speak to Janet & Wayne now, even after Ollie leaving as they’re just too great to really say goodbye to! Xx

Great Childminder!

Janet and Wayne have been fabulous for my little boy. When he first started with them, he was very shy and sensitive, and Janet and Wayne have done wonders for his confidence through all the activities they take the children to. Thank you!! X

Couldn't be more helpful

Loverly couple who couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. Our daughter has regularly enjoyed her visits and its been great reading up on her days with them. Would reccomend them to anyone.

Amazing care, son was like part of the family!

My son was with Janet and Wayne for a little over 2.4 years. He loved every second he spent there, and to this day still asks to go and see them. I felt that when he first started at only 1, being in a home setting would help him settle in quickly, which it did, and it was the best decision of my life. He was always happy, smiling and had loads of stories to tell me about his day. Janet and Wayne are a great couple, who always catered for all our needs, and made my son feel like he was one of their own. Always flexible and happy to help. Thank you for making such an impression on my son, and helping shape him for the future.

Great home from home

When I visited Janet & Wayne for the first time I felt so at ease at their home, they were a lovely couple and I felt like this was definitely the right place for my daughter.
They made the transition as easy as possible, were very flexible and accommodating for our schedule changes and took our needs into consideration.
We loved how they brought the kids together but at the same time supported each on their individual journey. They also take parent's concerns/suggestions and tried them out (like sleep arrangements and dinner behaviour). They have a lovely home, their kids are like big siblings to my daughter and I feel like my daughter had 4 parents for a while.

We would strongly recommend them, and I am hoping my son will have such a supportive and lovely environment next year...

Lovely couple

My son was cared for by Wayne and Janet up until February 2015 & thoroughly enjoyed his time in their care.

I chose them for the main reason that I wanted my son to be in a home environment for his early years as well as have the best of both worlds by being cared for by a couple who operate together as childminders.

Both Wayne and Janet are full of enthusiasm as well as being flexible for our needs for the duration of my sons care with them. They spent lots of time taking him & the other children in their care to groups and parks and he also enjoyed arts and crafts activities with them.
Their home is located in a nice area of Sutton and is spacious and fully equipped with toys and learning items that were fully suitable for my son who is now 3.
Both Wayne and Janet are very approachable and offered the flexibility needed for my busy hectic working life, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for childcare in or around Sutton.
