My Experience

I have been in sole charge looking after children from 6 months to 8 years of age. Duties including: preparing bottles and healthy meals, changing nappies, potty training, weaning, teething and other responsibilities related to the children’s lives; taking trips to the park, the swimming pool, play groups, play dates, classes and museums; tidying up the play area and finding activities to help with development using: reading books, painting, colours, shapes, educational toys, coordination progression, singing, dancing; keeping a daily Routine Diary; helping with homework; bathing the children and eliciting a restful bed-time; pIck-up and drop off at school; working sometimes over the weekend with sole charge while the parents have been away on trips. Babysitting for the families on an occasional basis

I have also volunteered at Marble Hill nursery for 6 months experiencing the formal institutional setting from within (2014).

I Worked at Kate's Nursery for 2 years(2018/19) as a staff cover when needed. Duties were supervising children from 1 to 3 and helping with activities, their meals and outings.

Since 2015 I have been looking after first Jack, from when he was 10 months and by 2017 Max came along as the second child. We all have been very happy for 7 years, working as a team and has been very rewarding seeing the boys growing happily and healthily.
Last year , because the Pandemic my bosses moved to the Countryside and invited me to work as a live in Nanny for 4 days a week offer which I accepted and so far has been working very well for all of us.

I am available for occasional babysitting Friday to Sunday

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
