About Me
Hello,
My family (partner and 11 year old son) moved from Wimbledon to Hawkwell in Essex in October 2021. I am felling very excited to open my home again for childminding in a new area.
I created a homely, relaxed environment caring for a small group of children, using lots of creative play, arts and craft, painting, home made play dough and much more. I also have a wide variety of toys, lots of books and encourage as much physical activity outdoors as possible. This includes lots of time and activities in the garden, trips to local parks and outings to various local facilities in the community.
I have been a qualified childminder since 2015 (Ofsted registered, with valid Paediatric First Aid and a DBS certificate). Prior to my childminding business I also worked as a nanny from 2007, caring for children from the ages of 5 months - 14 years old.

My Experience
In 2007 I started working as an au pair/nanny, this position lasted two years and six months. After I moved to London I continued working as a nanny until 2015 when I proudly opened my home and became a childminder which is still my role today.
My Qualifications
I have Certificate in Understanding how to set up a home base childcare service (cache). I also have various certificates (Lead Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Prevent duty, SEN, FGM). I always make sure I update my knowledge in EYFS. I am interested in the Montessori approach as well.
It is important to note that my partner also has a valid DBS check.

We are so lucky we found Adel just after she moved to Hawkwell! My 2 year old daughter has been with Adel for about a year now and she absolutely loves it there.
My daughter was born just before the pandemic and I was so anxious about leaving her with anyone else after a couple of intense years of it just being the two of us, but Adel made it so easy and stress free. My daughter settled in so fast doing 3 full days a week which I was so surprised at, considering she’d never left me before! It shows what a lovely home-from-home environment Adel has and what a wonderful person Adel is!
There is such a great set up in both the house and garden for children. A few things they’ve done in the last couple of weeks that I can think of are; gardening (Adel has an amazing fruit/veg patch in the garden!), baking, arts and crafts, basketball, reading together, singing and dancing. Adel also gets the kids outside every day doing lovely things such as woodland walks, puddle jumping, playground visits and popping by to say hello to the local horses, as you do! They also do trips to places like the shops or the library. My daughter’s language and understanding has come such a long way this last year and I can tell a lot of it comes from what she learns at Adel’s.
My daughter happily hops into Adel’s house every morning and she never wants to leave at the end of the day! I know she is very happy and secure there and she always comes home talking about her latest adventures! Adel also gives me regular updates with pictures and videos throughout the day too.
Adel is just such a lovely person, her and her family are so wonderful with the kids and I feel so comfortable trusting her with the most important thing in my world!
A++, 10/10, 5 stars - I can’t recommend Adel enough!!!!!

Adel looked after both our children for the last 5 years, until she moved out of London. She is absolutely wonderful and has been impossible to replace. The period she cared for them spanned the ages of 1 to 5 and she looked after them with great care, and always planned interesting age appropriate activities to challenge and develop them. Amongst many other things she taught our eldest to put his coat on when he was 2 years old! She cooked healthy, nutritious meals for them on a daily basis. She is flexible if your plans change. Through child minding she became a trusted family friend. She is the best at what she does and we miss her loads.

My children adored Adel, they loved her straight away and were very happy in her care while I got a few jobs done and had a break. Adel took care of everything for me, looking after 3 young children and multitasking. Feeding the children, changing the baby's nappy and entertaining them. Adel is naturally wonderful with children. I would love to book Adel again for babysitting and would reccomend her as an excellent childminder for parents.

Adel has been looking after my daughter B for over a year now, starting when she was 13 months old. I am so happy with the care Adel provides; she's always cheerful and they seem to get up to lots of exciting activities. B always looks excited when she realises we're parked at Adel's flat waiting to go in. Adel is also excellent at sending photos so I can see what they are up to. I wholeheartedly recommend Adel.

Adel has been our child minder for more than 5 years. She minds our 2 children, and we can't imagine a better child minder. She provides another home away from home, where there is actually more time to read books, sing songs, go to the library for story time, do art & crafts, etc; than we would otherwise be able to provide.
It's got all the warmth of a home environment, plus the learning one might normally associate with a nursery. She communicates really well and is very reliable. She always does her best to work with the family and establish a routine that works best for everyone. Pick ups and drop offs to and from home/school/ nursery etc, once she's pencilled into the home calendar, you can count on it.
We very highly recommend her. Our children are happy with her, and we are happy with her. She is a very valuable addition to any family that is lucky enough to have her.

Our little one has been looked after by Adel since he was 1. I was so nervous about leaving him with a childminder when I had to go back to work after my maternity leave. Adel has been great with helping my little boy settling in. He loves going there. She is such a brilliant childminder, I only have good things to say about her. Adel created a daily routine for the kids, they do little day trips to the farm, local parks, they regularly visit the library and they join different playgroups as well. They also do yoga in the park:) She created a very warm, homely environment for them. The meals are always home made, very healthy- plenty of fruit, vegetables, organic pasta, snacks. She also gives us updates during the day. I would definitely recommend her- 100%!! a very happy mummy:)

Adel has been an absolute godsend for us and our daughter Isabel, who is now a year and a half old.
Adel is a genuine, super caring, approachable and flexible person with excellent energy that very evidently rubs off onto all the kids she looks after. I have no doubt or concerns that Isabel is in the best care while I am at work. Isabel has really come along way with Adel, she used to be such an unsettled baby, constantly crying and generally very irritable but since Adel came along, she's helped Isabel turn 180 degrees and her sweeter more settled nature shines through, which, as parents, we desperately wanted for Isabel. Adel challenges Isabel and encourages her to grow and build on her strengths as well as overcome any difficulties with total support. She loves all her kids and showers affection and care that I have noticed fantastic developments which each one, as they grow to be confident and well behaved and balanced children.
Adel prepares lovely home-cooked healthy meals and caters towards children's needs and dietary requirements. She takes the kids out every day and offers stimulating activities and environments to help them grow as well as have fun!
I highly recommend Adel as an incredible childminder and individual who will provide the best care a parent could wish for. Yes, we totally love her!!!
