Both my children went to Liz before and after school and they loved it! She goes above and beyond for the children in her care, organising pizza night or a movie night outside her working hours.

Outstanding Childminder and Person

For the past four years, my daughter (10), has been going to Liz. I'm a working, single parent, so having someone who looks after your child as if it's one of her own means the world to me. My daughter loves spending time with Liz after a busy day at school. It feels like home for her where she can relax and unwind. The warm, welcoming environment makes my daughter feel safe and secure, fostering her emotional well-being. Liz's attentive care and engaging activities also help her develop socially and academically. This consistent support has made a significant positive impact on her overall growth.
Liz is someone I highly recommend.

Our Number 1

When you choose someone "in loco parentis" either for a few hours a day or all day for four of the five working days of the week as we have done, you want to know your children are being cared for in the same way as you would care for them yourself.

I can tell you with confidence that this is what you get with Liz Jones. She guides and nurtures our children so that each day they are spilling over with things to tell us, from the crafts and cooking in Liz's kitchen, to playing in the adventure garden or the paddling pool or mud kitchen! They even ask when they're going to see her next and talk about her at home. She treats them as if they are her own children, while making sure they know the boundaries that parents have asked her to implement. A real life Mary Poppins. Her house is orientated around the children, with a playroom overflowing with toys to a garden with a tree house slide and picnic trampoline area. Liz herself has a warmth that you can almost feel radiating from her and our kids love her for it.

I can recommend Liz wholeheartedly and without any reservations. Our kids are happy, warm, safe and developing their social skills with her. Above all else I never worry for a second that they are safe and being treated as I would treat them myself. There's nothing more you could want from a childminder.

Excellent Childminder

Liz has looked after my girls during their time at junior school. I knew from the warmth with which she greeted us when we first went to visit and her welcoming home that the girls would be happy there, and they most certainly have. They adore her and think of her like family, feeling as relaxed at hers as they do at home. Liz treats all the children in her care with kindness, and is fair in her treatment to them all. She instils the same values that are important to us; respect and care for each other. She goes that extra mile and makes the children in her care feel special. I would wholeheartedly recommend Liz.

Brilliant, highly recommended!

My little girl started with Liz shortly after she had turned one and still goes to her over 2 years later, along with my youngest son who is 18months old and my 5 year old during the holidays.
All three of my children adore going to hers, in fact my little girl would probably rather spend a day with Liz than at home!
They settled in so quickly and easily when they started due to the relaxed, homely, warm environment they were welcomed into, along with the understanding Liz has of each of their different personalities and traits.
She’s offered up support and advice through tricky phases, been flexible and supportive through family and work changes, and above all shows so much love for every child she looks after, my children literally run through her front door, I’m so pleased we found her!

Very experienced and excellent childminder

Liz has looked after both of our children for nearly 15 years, from when they were 5 months old to leaving Primary school. Liz has treated them like part of her family, with kindness, understanding and respect. She has helped us navigate all those tricky parts of parenting, giving advice and support but always being respectful of our wishes. Both children enjoyed going to her before and after school and loved having dinner with everyone around the table, it is one of their many favourite memories of being there. I cannot recommend Liz highly enough as our children have had stability and routine, enabling us to work as parents and never had to worry about their safety and happiness.

I wouldn't leave my son with anyone else.

I was referred to Liz by both family members and friends who had availed themselves of her childminding services and told me so many good things. All I can say having experienced her work myself as a parent, is that she is so much more than a childminder. Noah is our first child and she helped us transition him from a few days a week to full time when we both returned to work. She is such a warm person and so kind to our son and the other children she cares for. He loves going there and believe me when I say, I'm always interrupting the fun when I go back to pick him up at the end of the day.

If you want your child to spend their childcare journey in a warm family home with a nurturing person who sees each child as an individual, go with Liz. Above all else and most importantly, she is always so kind. I wouldn't leave Noah with anyone else.

The Best you can find!! ( trust me )

Liz looked after my daughter Alisson since she was a baby until she became 2 years old.
They both love each other so much!!
You know that someone is good when you see in your little one face a huge smile everytime you tell that is going to see Liz.
Liz has been amazing at all time, there is no another way to describe it. She is always with a smile on her mouth, very warm welcome to the kids, always looking activities outside for them when the weather is good, teaching talking, eating, sharing, doing arts, cooking...
If you are lucky to find an space for your little one with Liz, do it.

Excellent Childminder

My children have been going to liz’s for the last 8 months.
She is an excellent childminder and my children are thriving under her care.
It was very clear from the offset that this was the right choice for us as a family. She has many years of experience but more importantly, a genuine passion for children and their development.
We have often benefitted from her advice and she is very supportive in providing for the individual needs of both my boys.
The children are never bored and there is always an array of activities provided for, along with various outings.
Liz provides a home away from home and our children are really happy there.

A Lovely Home Environment.

Our daughter has been going to Liz since she was 4 months old, the transition was very easy as she looks forward to her visits. Being new parents we find Liz to be a very valuable source of knowledge and have turned to her for advise on a number of occasions and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly family environment.
