Hi my name is Verity, I absolutely love my job and working with children and have done for the last 12 years. I love to go that extra mile when it comes to my job and pride myself on being extremely reliable and trustworthy. I like to think of myself as more than just "the nanny" and no job is too big or too small with me.
I enjoy cooking, arranging playdates aswell as fun activities to help further and develop the childrens abilities from learning to swim to attending music classes.
I have a BTEC Level 3 qualification in early years, a distinction in Level 4 early years and hold a clean DBS check and clean full UK driving licence aswell as my own car.
*I am 35 years old and am a mum to 2 daughters who are currently 9.5 years old and 1 years old, so know how important it is to feel comfortable and relaxed when being away from your children.
I will do whatever it takes when looking after your precious ones to provide the best childcare
I am looking for babysitting or housekeeping work for evenings or weekends. I can work most evenings and weekends as i can leave my daughters at home with her grandparents or my partner as they can put them to bed. I can also be available at short notice aswell as in advance.
* I have excellent references available, lots of experience in a variety of childcare settings from creche work, nannying and SEN experience and would love to join a new family for the long run. I am a fun loving, trustworthy individual that would love to be a part of your family.

My Experience
-6months nursery work in a baby room
-1year working in a creche at David Llyods Kidbooke
-2years working as a TA in a catholic school, working in a reception and year 1 -class, working along side a special needs child with autism.
-3.5years looking after 2 children aged B-3.5 and G-5
Looking after the little girl since she was 8months and the little boy since he was born as i was there at the home birth. Carrying out various duties which have included:
-getting the children washed and dressed
-taking children to nursery
-Assisted in key stages such as potty training and weaning
-preparing and cooking meals
-arts and craft activities, singing and playing
-I also regularly babysit for a family in the Chailey area, on the evenings and weekends. I have also babysat overnight and stayed on regular occasions.
-Nanny share for 2girls from 2 different families from June 2012-october 2013.
One of the girls has a dairy and egg allergy so i have experience with this and dealing with her if she has had an allergic reaction.
We went to boppin bunnies classes, diddi dance, the park and do lots of play dates with my great network of mum and nanny friends in the area.
I have also participated in potty training the 2year old, getting the girls dressed, fed, nappy changed.
Currently working 3.5 days a week in a school nursery as the Nursery Lead.
Working with children aged 2-4 years.
In charge of eyfs planning for-the indoor and outdoor environment.
Supporting the manager with the day to day running of the nursery
