A Wonderful Nanny

We found Christie through this site and she has been an exceptional nanny for our family for the past four months (since the beginning of March) and we would thoroughly recommend her to others. My work situation has changed and that is the only reason why she no longer works for us. If this hadn’t been the case, we would definitely have continued to have employed her.
She cared for our two children (3 and 1) for three days a week, which enabled me to go to work, confident in the knowledge that they are thriving and in very safe hands. She is supremely organised and we have found her to be reliable and punctual, often arriving early if requested.
Christie’s main responsibilities included getting the children ready in the morning, doing the nursery drop off and pick up, preparing meals and taking both children to activities. She has an excellent knowledge of the local area and regularly took them to soft play or other fun places that she knows about. Both children were particularly enthusiastic about Fridays, when there wasn’t any nursery so Christie was in sole charge of both. Our 3 year old called these ‘Fun Fridays’! She has also been invaluable at helping with certain tasks around the house and always left our house clean and tidy.
Christie has a strong and loving relationship with our children. She communicated clearly with all of us, stuck to our routines where necessary and always kept us updated during the day. When our children have been ill she has been especially caring which meant so much to us. The staff at my son’s nursery even commented on what a fantastic nanny she is and how much she clearly cares about the children. Her standards and expectations regarding behaviour are similar to ours and we worked closely together to create a happy home environment. When I came back from work the children were always calm and happy.
We can unreservedly recommend Christie as an exceptional nanny and would be pleased to speak to anyone interested in employing her to support their family.

Absolutely fantastic

Christie was my nanny for my twin girls for around 3 years. She was a massive support to us and assisted with many tasks including weaning and toilet training. The girls were challenging at times as they had regular reflux, lots of illnesses as well as eczema and Christie took all this in her stride and always remained calm. She has formed a very secure and loving attachment to my children and we are so sad to see her go. She will be a treasure for any family as she was for mine.

Wonderful nanny!

We found Christie from this site and she has been such a wonderful addition for our children's care. She is so enthusiastic and caring while also looking out for the best interests of our children (ages 2 1/2 and 10 months). She is self sufficient when finding activities for the kids and they are always doing something. They get lots of cuddles and really enjoy being with her.

I cannot recommend her more highly - we are moving overseas and I can only hope to find someone who fits in with us as well as she has. Happy to provide a reference for Christie. We will miss having her with us!
