About Me
I am a qualified teacher, tutor and governess with lots of experience working for private families. My home is in beautiful Church Stretton. I am looking for work locally either Shrewsbury, Ludlow or further south possibly.
I can offer help with homework for school age children and lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities. I can cook ( and like doing this with children) , drive and have driven many clients' children. I am available for school holiday cover. I
am mature, resourceful calm, firm and fun and have also had my own children, though they are adults now. I am a big fan of Go Ape. I understand that children need boundaries, consistency and to feel they are being treated fairly. My ideal job would be with a family with 2-4 children, pets no problem, as an after school nanny.
My Experience
I have worked in education for over 25 years and more recently as a live in private governess for international families. I know Shropshire very well and all the great things it has to offer for children, sporting, educational and fun.
I am also available as a holiday nanny.

QTS Qualified teacher status
BEd Cambridge
CELTA English as a foreign language teacher
My Availability
prefer 5 days a week after school, but do not mind occasional extra days/ babysitting if there is quid pro quo. Also interested in a full time governess role with focus on education for school age kids.

- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
For tuition my fees vary.
