About Me

My name is Hayley Palmer. Im a professionally qualified Nursery Nurse teacher and nanny. I’m in search of a position with a lovely family. I have had a variety of experiences (20 + years) in working and caring for children. In roles which have been home-based, within nurseries and in junior/primary schools. (Both private and state sectors).

I am an attentive carer and feel passionate about children’s growth and well-being. Focusing on different areas of development through a variety of techniques and activities. Concentrating on positive behaviour enables a child to develop a strong sense of self and confidence. I encourage children to be active and to keep fit. Exercise is essential to a child’s emotional, mental, and physical well-being and development. Being out in nature has a calming and healthy influence, which I try to encourage daily.

I value a healthy balanced diet. Nutritious meals (preferably organic), and a balanced diet are an important part of a child's growth and development.

I am a self-taught musician. Singing, playing the guitar and piano. I try to encourage the children to express themselves and to be creative.
