About Me
Hello, I'm Nicole and I have been babysitting for the past 10 years. I'm a qualified teacher and specialise in EY/KS1.
I'm a friendly person and love to work with children. I like to accommodate the individual needs of the children in my care, I do this by planning activities and working to their individual needs.
I'm aware and have a understanding of the early years foundation stage (EYFS) and I use this in my planning.
My Experience
I've worked in various settings over the years, these include:
- Nursery setting. (Babies - 4 year olds. )
- Childminder setting. (10 months+)
- Schools ( Reception, Year 1 and a mixed class of year 1 &2, year 6)
- Preschool ( 2 years 10months - 4 years)
- Babysitting/nannying ( 3months+)
My Qualifications
I have just completed my NQT year in a local primary school. I completed my teacher training through a SCITT (Schools Centred Initial Teacher Training) course.
I have a First Class BA Hons in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Foundation Degree in Childcare and Education and CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (grade A).
I am DBS checked.
I'm first aid trained, as well as having a level 2 food safety award.
