Donna has looked after my little boy since he was 6 months old and was absolutely wonderful with him!! Not only did she help develop him and his needs , she truly helped me as a first time time with no family around! My little boy has thrived at her setting and even though he is older and is now started school, he speaks Donna still like she is family❤️....a brilliant child under who I cannot recommend enough to support and nurture your child

Donna has been our childminder for 4 years now and both my girls really enjoy their time with her and all the adventures they go on while in her care. Communication is good, the setting is fun and warm and my daughters have made lovely friendships with the other children. I highly recommend Donna if you're looking for a childminder either all day or for wrap around school care.

My daughter has been going to Donna’s since August 2023. She absolutely loves going there and always looks forward to the holidays so she can go to Donna’s! She has such a lovely time, and has made some good friends too. Donna is always really accommodating with days/hours changes, very communicative and keeps me informed of how my daughter is getting on and activities she has done that day. She has definitely been a life saver during the holidays, as both my husband and I work full time. I really dont know what we would do without her, and I can’t recommend her enough. x

Our daughter absolutely loves going to Donna's! She is always very excited about all the activities and different groups. We came to Donna at a time of change and she has been supportive ever since. She also communicate well with us and let us know of any update. We cannot fault Donna at all !

Our daughter has been going to Donna since she was 9 months old. She has supported not only my daughter but our whole family throughout all the ups and downs of life and through the trauma of having a very poorly newborn when our son was later born with CHD. Both the children love going to Donna’s and have thrived in her setting over the years. We cannot fault Donna and are always so grateful to have found her! Our children are now 9 and 6 and still love their time at Donna’s during school holidays. Donna has always provided a safe, nurturing and creative environment for our children and we cannot fault her.

Unfortunately Donna is not the childminder for you if you have children with SEN needs. She can not manage some behaviours in an appropriate or professional manner. My son is a SEN child who is not violent but becomes distressed and asks terminated the contract as she couldn’t cope. The conversation was over text. Highly unprofessional manner to terminate a contract. Have reported to Ofsted under the Equality Act whereby disability is a protected characteristic.

I am truly sorry that it has come to this. It wasn't an easy decision to give notice. As you know I have spoken to you on numerous occasions about this. Since looking after your school aged child since October, it is clear that my setting does not meet your child's needs and I must consider the safety and wellbeing of all the children in my care. This is irrespective of any special educational need and would apply to any child.
I couldn’t recommend Donna enough. My girls are very happy in her setting and have settled in really well. Donna’s communication is brilliant and I get lots of lovely photos of the girls. If you’re considering a childminder then I highly recommend Donna.
