Thank you for looking at my profile, I aim to provide a safe and secure homely environment for your child/children. I will value and respect each and every child as an individual.
I will work closely in partnership with you as parents/ carers to meet the needs of your child/children. I will encourage Christian principles such as sharing, caring and loving each other. I also aim to promote a happy, warm and stimulating environment for each child so they can develop socially, mentally, emotionally and physically.
I will encourage your child/children to be confident, independent and to develop their self esteem. I will provide activities, play opportunities and first hand experiences which allows them to build on their natural curiosity as learners. I will encourage them to use their imagination and to ask questions. I will help your child/children to learn what is acceptable or right, or unacceptable or wrong. I will listen and value what they say.
I will promote the British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs through my delivery of the EYFS Early years Foundation Stage The areas of learning are:
communication and language.
physical development.
personal, social and emotional development.

mathematics.
understanding the world.
expressive arts and design.
I meet the required adult- child ratio. Training and qualification requirements are met and organised space and resources to meet your child/children's needs effectively.
I have completed a Paediatric First Aid course which includes training in First Aid for infants and young children.
I have also completed the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Board programme: The Early years Safeguarding Lead Practitioner training.
I am the lead safeguarding Practitioner in my childminding setting. I am committed to recognise children who experience Physical and emotional harm; I understand that child abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional, neglect, domestic, or a mixture of these, and I am aware of the signs and symptoms of these.
I am aware that I must have due regard to the need to prevent people being drawn into terrorism. This is referred to in the Prevent Duty. The Prevent duty is the duty in the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 on specified authorities, in the exercise of their functions, to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism. I am also aware of the signs and indicators of extremism or radicalisation
I have completed the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
I am also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) they help me work towards the early learning goals.
I carry a public Liability insurance.
On 1 December 2012, The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) merged with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) to become the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
I have a CRB and DBS checks.
As an OFSTED registered childminder, I am registered with ICO. under the Data Protection Act 1998, every organisation that processes personal Information must notify the Information Commissioner's Office.
My Experience
I am a Registered OFSTED approved childminder since 2006 and I have worked as a volunteer Session leader for a Mother and Toddler group for 6 years before I registered with OFSTED; I am an experience mother of 2 girls; 32 and 22 years old and I have a grandson who is 8 years old. I have extensive experience working with special educational needs children, new born and twins.
My Qualifications
I am registered with OFSTED and I meet the required adult: child ratio. Training and qualification requirements are met and organise space and resources to meet your child/children's needs effectively.
I have completed a first aid course which includes training in first aid for infants and young children, including administration of auto injectors.
I have a certificate in Autism & Social Communication Difficulties,
I am also a member of the Professional Association of Childcare in Early Years who is an approved childminders network. They help me to work towards the Early Learning goals.
I am a lead practitioner in safeguarding in Early years.
I am registered with ICO, Information commissioners office,
I have completed the food and hygiene course and healthy eating in Early years.

My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
Occasional/ad hoc care: £10 per hour for first child, £5 for each sibling 8am-6pm after 6pm to 8am is £15 per hour for first child, £5 for each sibling
Hours of work: 8am to 6pm after 6pm considered evening work, 6pm to 8am overnight care.
Pick up, drop offs £5 each way
