We are so blessed to have found Dawn!

Our little girl, Jane, loves, loves, loves Dawnie. We are so blessed to know Dawn and to have the opportunity for Jane to spend her preschool years with Dawn.

Dawn’s professionalism, commitment to top-notch early education, heart for the children, warmth, kindness and care make her one of a few diamonds you will come across in your life when it comes to the care of your little ones.

Another thing we love about Dawn is her good naturedness, positivity and humour as this is so important for little ones and their development. Jane comes home with the funniest little stories and experiences, which both put our minds at ease and give us all a good chuckle.

Dawn is also incredibly helpful when it comes to working with family and parents as a team to raise the kids. She keeps us in the loop, collaborates on learning, offers support when needed (she’s helped me out with some very stressful life moments big and small) and is always willing and happy to offer her hand. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate and value her kindness and generosity.

Jane could not be a happier more well adjusted little girl. She has been with Dawn for close to two years now, and her emotional, social, academic and spiritual growth is wonderful to see. We certainly have Dawn to thank for helping us care for and teach Jane.

Dawn is one in a million, so if you have the chance to, don’t hesitate, go for it. Your little diamond will thank you. ☺️

Truly wonderful!

Dawn has been caring for my 2 children for months now and I couldn’t recommend her and her services high enough!

My girls absolutely love going and spending time with Dawn. She is truly amazing at what she does and is amazing with my children.

dawn is fantastc

My children aged 20 months and 4 years old have been going to dawns since jan 2023. Dawn is an exceptional child minder. She has such a postive effect on my children. My children ask in a morning is it 'dawnie day or mummy day?' and they want to go to dawns.
Dawn has been working with my 4 yearold since she was 3 on school readiness. she has really improved in her ability to hold a pencil - her knowledge has become more enhansed too but what really pleases me is that she has instilled a love of learnig ito my daughter
my son's language skills are improving with dawns imput
i would recommend dawn as a childminder

Excellent Service

Our 2 year old daughter has been attending Dawn's setting for around 3 months now after moving from a nursery and we couldn't be happier. She settled really well in Dawn's care and we were reassured all the way with lots of photos. She gets the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and the love and care Dawn has for the children she looks after is evident. This is definitely more than just a job for her.

Exceptional

Sebby has been with Dawn for nearly 1.5 years now. Her level of service is exceptional. She is like a family member to us and I trust her more with Sebby than members of my own family as she knows exactly how he ticks. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting with Dawn and moving from a mainstream nursery, so much so that we are planning on keeping her alongside pre school next January.
Anyone who knows Dawn well, know she's goes above and beyond with service and to help, as shown by 99 per cent of her other ratings. Go meet her, as within 10 minutes with a covid baby we moved Sebby to Dawn and he was exceptionally clingy then. Within 2 weeks with Dawn he has come out of himself. Dawn has had some exceptionally difficult personal circumstances, recently that she eventually took time off, but yet when that happened she was still putting the children first which was incredible.
Dawn is not an only incredible childminder who is like gold dust to find, she is also an amazing friend and feels like a member of our family. I have never for 1 second regretted my decision to hire her and neither has any other member of our family.
Don't let one misunderstanding below ever put you down Dawn. Your 20 year track record speaks volumes lovely, not to mention how you are with the children and how much they adore coming to you. It's extremely rare to see a child crying at Dawn's.

Dishonest.

We thought Dawn was a good choice for our son. However, when she was notified of her upcoming ofsted inspection she excluded our son so her setting would have less children and she could present in a different way. She then lied about it. To Ofsted, to my husband and then even to me. Whatever her latest rating may be it is not reflective of her daily delivery and I would caution any parent about leaving their child with someone who can so readily deviate from the truth.

Little Diamonds - Incredible Childminder

We have rarely met anyone with such passion and love for their job. Except it isn't a job for Dawn, the love and care she provides is abundant and effortless because of the energy and enthusiasm she exudes naturally.
We were very lucky to have our daughter attend Little Diamomds for over three years; from 10 months to four years old. We have seen her grow into a little girl we are very proud of because of Dawn's positive influence.
During this time we have also considered Dawn to be part of our extended family, and a lady our daughter loves and wants to see, and misses incredibly when she doesn't attend the setting.
We are very fond of Dawn, her flawless approach to caring for our child, promoting learning by doing, venturing out almost daily, and her commitment to child safety and development.
Dawn explained in her bio that she also wanted to embrace a child's wonderment and imagination - with "Wow' moments as children make accomplishments and we can attest to this also being true.
We have been wowed by Dawn every day - and cannot write enough to promote her or indeed thank her for helping make our daughters start in life so wonderful.
Thank you, Dawn and thanks also to yourr family who support you with your love for what you do so well.

The best child minder

My daughter has been attending little Diamonds for near 2 years. she is always excite when she is going to Dawn. She enjoy spending time at little Diamonds, she is always happy and every morning she ask me if she is going to dawn. Dawn has done a brilliant job with my daughter. Dawn remain working during covid 19 lockdown as a nhs frontline worker this meant I can continue to go to work, I know a lots of child minder did not work during the lockdown but dawn made a decision to contribute in many ways such as caring for keyworker children. Having a flexible contract with Dawn work well for me as due to the nature of my job I dont always finish on time. I highly recommend little Diamonds

The Best Childminder in the World!!!

I am so happy we found Dawn, my little boy has been attending Little Diamonds for almost two years. He is really happy there, made loads of friends and every morning he wants to get in the car and drive to Dawn's.
Dawn is a true professional, she knows so much about Early Years framework and plans loads of activities to implement the framework and make sure that children are happy but also learn new things.
Its an absolute pleasure to work with Dawn, she is very friendly, professional and she truly cares about children. She is extremely passionate about her work and that's truly visible in the day to day activities. She has fantastic sense of humour and she is really easy to get on. Her setting is spotless and full of appropriate toys and books for children.
I would truly recommend Dawn to any parent, you couldn't ask for the better childminder and a friend to your child and family. Thank you Dawn for caring for Big Boy Bear :-)

Exceptionally brilliant!

Dawnie has cared for Connor since he was 10 months old. It is so hard handing your baby to someone you barely know and leaving them there which is why it is so important to have someone that you can see will do their Upmost you keep your child safe, happy and cared for!
We went to visit dawn and she immediately asked to hold our baby, she involved him in all our communication and we felt at ease with her.
Connor has now been going to dawn for almost 2 years. She puts lots of effort into planning exciting activities for the children, ensuring she is keeping in with Early years frameworks and governmental guidance.
She gives feedback and has lots of passion and commitment to her work, evident in her communication with parents.
We are so pleased we found dawn, our boy loves going there, he has thrived in this childcare setting and We don’t know what We would have done without Dawn. Dawn has worked all through the global pandemic of coronavirus and supported parents who are key workers also and has been adaptable and flexible in her hours to suit our childcare needs. Thank you Dawn for working alongside us and supporting us in our journeys as first time parents.
