My Experience
i have been working with children and families for 15 years gaining lots of experience along the way. I started working in nurseries for a couple of years caring for children 0/5 which was rewarding. i then went on to do one to one with children with disabilities and challenging behaviour sadly the funding ended after 4 years so went on to doing some outreach work in children centres working closely alongside other professionals providing help and play opportunities for families with young children. I have also worked in schools as a teaching assistant .

Jan has been looking after my children for months now, And I am extremely happy and blessed to find her, someone who you can relax and be comfortable while I am at university, because I know they’re in good hands, they are been looking after. My daughter is quiet and shy I was so alarmed before she started with Jan however she is very happy, playful and talkative😀 My children feel part of Jan’s family, they’re always included in activities and Jan provides healthy snacks... Jan provide good quality of hygiene in encouraging them to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet, and her house is clean this is an extra ✅. My children absolutely love her & I can only say thank you for everything... keep going you’re an amazing nanny..... I would definitely recommend her 🌟 🌟

Words cannot do justice, my daughter was with Janet for over a year. As a first time mum, I was incredibly nervous to leave my daughter. However within the first week, I felt totally at ease. Janet updated us regularly, great communication before and after pick ups.
Janets home was incredibly welcoming and my daughter would walk in like it was her own home.
My daughter loves Janet and her family like her own and I felt as though Janet felt the same. My daughter has developed leaps and bounds since being with her and we received regular updates on her development. I could not recommend Janet enough.
A truly caring and understanding individual who put my nerves at ease and help my daughters confidence flourish.

Trying to find childcare is an ongoing struggle for many parents and after my son having to start an iterim school i was in desperate need of a childminder in order to go back to work after lockdown 1. Jan's profile sounded ideal so i contacted her to arrange to go and visit with my son to see what he thought as he can be a bit apprehensive when it is something out of routine. Jan's setting was lovely and i had barely begun to ask qustions when my son asked to look round and play. This showed me he liked her setting and was immediately happy.
Jan was lovely, patient and allowed me to ask any questions making me feel at ease. Her home from home approach ensures a relaxing and fun atmosphere for the children and piece of mind for the parents.
My son could not wait to go to Jan's to play and i was relieved to have found a genuine, patient understanding lady who engaged and welcomed him from the start.
Unfortunately with the current covid situation going into a second lockdown so not back to work, and my son moving to his new school so quickly i didnt get to send him to Jan. That said i would highly recommend her to any other mums needing childcare. She is a genuine professional kind lady who is very understanding and accommodating. Her setting feels just like home and ideal for any nervous children...or parents they will feel right at home. Thankyou Jan for all your help, support and understanding! If i ever need a childminder in the future i will be giving you a call! 😊

I feel lucky to have found Nanny Jan.
Janet is really an impressive childminder. She came through for me at a very short notice when I was desperate for childcare. Janet is very kind, committed and professional, my daughter is very happy and relaxed when I drop her off.
Thanks for the time you took care of my daughter Janet.
I will certainly make use of her services again and have no hesitation in recommending her to any family seeking childcare.

Janet lives just 2 doors to us and i was so happy that i just had to walk down 2 doors to drop my lil one.she has a room with toys and my daughter settled quickly with her and her sons.
She is amazing and my daughter didnt want to come back home
I would definitely recommend Janet with hygieme and collection of toys.

Jan’s personality is so soothing and calming, it shines through even when she is dealing with my boisterous 3 year old. She is very experienced and polite and yet still firm and patient.
I have no worries whenever my son is with her, I just do check-ins, just so I don’t seem unconcerned about my little one. She is really God sent...she is one of those few people who go out of their way to cater to the needs of my toddler (makes sure she engages him in both indoor and outdoor activities). She also takes them for extra curricular activities like Halloween parties, Christmas parties, toddler group, etc.
I believe the singular words that qualify Jan are nice, kind, sweet, loving, calming. I will use Jan’s services, even when I don’t need it, just for the sake of the mental stimulation she provides my son.

After stressing for weeks on end, trying to get my son to school, I found this amazing lady on this website. Janet you were an absolute god send. My son has autism and has to go to a special school. Janet took him 2 mornings a week for me making it so much easier. My son loved going to school with Janet and her son.

I needed a babysitter for my two children for 4 hours and Janet was brilliant. She took my children to the park to feed ducks , then they baked Halloween biscuits ! Her home was very clean and had lots of toys for the kids to play with and she was very nice to talk to. Would definitely use her services again in the future and would recommend her if you need a babysitter/child minder .

Our 4 years old son who has autism and only speaks French stayed with Janet for a full day . We did prefer her than a babysitter as she had other kids same age from my son around. No problem , I do recommend her. £45 for the full day all meals included. We had nothing to bring except sun cream as she took the kids to a nearby park. Her house in clean and very organised. She has a special room for the kids with plenty of toys. She made herself very flexible and very attentive to his needs , our needs. She even came to pick up our son from our house in the morning to give him extra sleep as we both had to leave very early for work. Only regret, he didn’t manage to sleep there for his nap, but Janet did try and I guess it was due to his first time there !! My son had a great day , and we will definitely use her again on my next working block . Thanks Janet
