About Me
hello my name is Erica, and I’ve been working with families, as there childminder for 15years.
I have a homely settings in Whitlingham country park ( so no cars no pollution just green fields all around and a loverly park for pick nics)
i follow all requirements by Ofsted, and am fully qualified with a level 3 MVQ
I am up to date with my training, safeguarding,
paediatric first aid
I am able to do before and after school care from
St Francis, Jupiter road
I am open from 6am till 7pm Monday to Friday.
I work Saturdays 10am till 4pm.
Bank holidays I am closed.
i charge £5.50per hour
I work all year round with 4wks holiday. Not all at once. But I do enjoy my family time, and need a break as do we all.
I have spaces full time or part time. Monday’s through to Saturday

My daughter has completed her pediatric first aid training and has studied Childcare at high school and she offers baby-sitting at weekends.
I am married and have two daughters,22 and 19 years old,
I am a grandparent to my son and his partner,
We have pets all Child friendly many say it’s a petting zoo,,
2 laphso’s Churchill and Kiki both young and enjoy just watching children play unless out side then it’s a game of fetch.
And last I have Winston a Maltese cross laphso who has a character and people and children adore.
And we have 5 cats ( I do live in the county) who tend to sleep upstairs all day and hunt out
If children are scared of animals then I help by doing some one on one sessions so they can fed the animals and generally find and learn how the animal behave and have to be looked after, and after a while I see a bond form and it’s wonderful and parents like it to.
I love my job, I enjoy the children’s company, there laughs, there joy. And most of all watching and helping them learn new skills when they are here, from listening to stories or going in the woods to forage for craft ideas, or just watching the garden grow. the children go home tired and the parents are happy, and I get set for another day.
My Experience
Apart from being a mum my self, I have completed a NVQ level 3 in childminding and past this April 2014, I attend as many courses as possible just completed a autism course in May 2014.

I am able to take funded children 1/2/3/4 years olds
My Availability
I work from 6am till 7pm but am flexible with times if arranged. I have a lot of Professional parents on my books and they find the flexibility a help.
bank holidays can be arranged with plenty of notice.
I offer a pick up and drop off service from home or work.. I already collect from, city hall, lakenham norwich and surrounding areas.
Term time holiday spaces at a flexible rate.
I can work 7 days a week with plenty of notice

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I don't hold retainers or deposits
£5.50 hourly rate
£3.50for second child
£60 night sleep overs ( includes room and food ) Ofsted appoved not offered at the moment due to current situations 7pm 7am
£7.00 babysitting
Snacks and meals to be provided
water is available all day ( No fizzy No juice No sweets No chocolate
Unless it’s a birthday party or special occasion and parents have given permission,
If a child is here on their birthday or it’s Halloween or another occasion then I hold a little party for the children to dress up and have fun.
