About Me
I am a registered childminder, I enjoy my work very much. I have been childminding for 26 years, I am married and live with my husband. I do school drop offs and pick up from Harton Primary and provide meals and snacks. I offer full time care term-time and limited holiday cover. I have a very large garden (100ftX50ft) with a dedicated play room in the garden with extensive equipment for children off all ages. We have a football area goal posts. A wooden swing set. we also have slides, a see-saw and several little tykes cars and numerous other outdoor and indoor toys including a dolls house and rocking horse.I had my latest Ofsted inspection in October 2021 and am rated as Good.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 26 years and have looked after many children of all different ages and abilities. I have experience from birth to teenagers, I also have cared for several children with S.E.N statements. I have also volunteered in our local primary school, mostly in foundation stage. I am a qualified level 3 teaching assistant and am aware of the current curriculum from foundation, through key stages 1,2,3 and 4. I have successfully potty trained over 19 children and am happy to support parents through this stage of development.
