My Experience
I have over 10 years childcare experience as a babysitter, childminder assistant and more recent years as a full time nanny with children from birth up to 16 years old.
I currently work for 2 families in a nanny share, with 3 children aged 10 months, 3 years & years old.
Mika & Miko Cheung - May 2023 - current
I started this full time position when Mika was 2 years old, Milo was born 3 months later and I assisted with newborn care while taking care of Mika - attending classes and toddler groups, socialising with other children and educational activities. When Milo was around 3 months he would come with me to Mikas groups and classes just for the morning then at 6 months I took him full time.
Nolan, Nyla, Vesper - February 2020 - December 2022
I returned to this Job after Nolan was born and his mum went back to work for 3 days when he was 12 months old, his sisters were 5 & 8. I continued to work through the pandemic with them, helping with school work and coming up with educational games and activities. Once the girls were back to school I took Nolan to playgroups and playdates at the park with friends - he now has a close group of friends we see weekly. Sophie (see job below) Joined us as a nanny share in September 2021 while Nolan was 2 and Sophie was 16 months. We continued our routine of playgroups, parks, willows and the Zoo.
William & Annabella - April 2019 - January 2020
I started looking after Annabella when she was 12 months old and her brother had just turned 3. William was mostly at nursery so i mainly cared for Annabella. We met with friends, enjoyed time at the library, willows and playgroups. I would make all the meals for the children, sort their washing and keep bedrooms/play-areas tidy. This job ended due to Annabella starting full time nursery, however i still babysit for them regularly.
Jacob & Sophie Bassett - January 2019 - present
I started with Jacob when he was 18months old 2 days a week. I would arrive at 7.30am give him breakfast then we would head out to a play or music group, home for lunch and nap then we would take a walk to a park in the afternoon, home for dinner and bath before his parents arrived home. This continued until May 2020 when Sophie was born, i continued my routine with Jacob for 2 days a week while helping out with the baby whenever we were home to give mum a rest. When Sophie was 7 months she stayed with myself and Jacob for 2 full days while their mum went back to work. In September 2021 Sophie along with me to my Job with Nolan, Nyla & Vesper 3 days a week as a nanny share she fitted in really well and enjoyed doing activities with the other children, her and Nolan have an incredible bond & friendship because of the nanny share. I continue to have Sophie and Jacob at their own house for the other 2 days of the week.
Jack & Charlotte Jeffes - January 2019 - April 2019
This was a temporary Job for a few months as Mum was freelance. Jack was 12 months and Charlotte was 4 years old. I would arrive in the morning and give the children breakfast before getting dressed and heading to school. Myself and Jack would spend the morning at a music class or the library before heading home for lunch and nap, then picking up Charlotte from school, popping to the park then home for dinner and bath before the parents took over.
Isabelle & Eleanore Walsh – September 2018 – December 2018
I looked after Isabelle (6) & Eleanore (3) 5 days a week, arriving at 7am to get them up, ready for school & nursery and prepare their breakfast. I organize all of the children’s activities, plan meals and weekly food shop. Take them to any clubs after school, arrange playdates and get them ready for bed in the evenings.
Ned & Barney Cook – April 2018 – July 2018
I looked after Ned & Barney (10 month twins) 3 mornings a week. I went round in the mornings to feed them breakfast, get them cleaned up, dressed and play while mum gets her older 2 children ready and takes them to school. I still occasionally babysit for them in the evenings, put them to bed and settle them if they wake up.
Noah, Oscar & Scarlett Swainsbury - February 2018 – August 2018
I sole care for Noah (5) Oscar (4) and occasionally their sister Scarlett (11) twice a week, arriving at 7.45am I get them ready for school & nursery then walk the short distance. I then return home, tidy up any play areas and prepare lunch and/or dinner. I pick up Oscar at 11.45am then we come home for lunch and crafts/playing, go meet friends for a playdate, go to the park or farm. We return to school to pick up Noah then come home for dinner and reading/homework.
Nyla & Vesper Manhas – September 2017 – August 2018
I picked Nyla up from Nursery Mon-Thurs, looked after her alongside Rocco for 4 months as part of a nanny share, Now I have her alone for the afternoons, occasionally picking up her older sister as well from school and taking them both home for dinner, bath and bed.
I looked after both girls during the summer holidays and occasionally their cousin joined us for the day as well.
Ella – July 2017 – March 2018
I pick up Ella (7) up from her childminder on a adhoc basis, taking her home to bath, get ready for bed and read together. Also if her mum is working away I will stay over night with her, get her up and ready for school in the morning and drop her to the childminder. Occasionally in the school holidays Ella spends the day with me and my full time children, helping me to ‘look after the little ones’
Kasper and Rocco Moore (Foster) – November 2016 – March 2018
I sole cared for Kasper (3) and Rocco (12 months) 4 days a week.
I would start the day at 8am, walk Kasper to school, then return home with Rocco to play or go to a toddler group. Half way through this position I started a nanny share picking up Nyla from Nursery, go home for lunch then spend the afternoon doing crafts or going out to the park or farm, then we pick up Kasper from school, pop to the park or come home to play.
Natalie, Isobel, Olivia – July 2016 – June 2017
I collected Izzy (10) and Olivia (7) from their childminder every Monday then pick up Natalie (15) and her friend from a club, drop them all home then prepare dinner and get them ready for bed.
I also do occasional evening and weekend babysitting for them.
Olly - April 2016 - July 2019
I picked Olly up occasionally from his after school club at Alban city school 2-4 evenings a week, take him home for dinner, bath and put him to bed. Occasionally I will drop him at his breakfast club in the mornings.
Alfie, George and Ruby-Mae – March 2016 – present
I currently babysit a couple of times a month for Alfie 7, George 5 and Ruby-Mae 4. Involving getting them ready for bed and getting them to sleep. I Occasionally pick them up from school and take them home for dinner & bath.
Hanne and Helen – January 2016 – Present
I regularly babysit for a lovely family with 2 girls aged 4 and 7, getting them ready for bed and settling them to sleep.
Ethan and Eve Brodskya– February 2014 – November 2016 (full time) – Present (Adhoc)
I sole cared for Ethan (2) and Eve (4) Monday – Friday.
I began the day by picking them up for school (Ethan nursery) dropping them both off then returning home to help their mum with tasks or artwork she had prepared for me. Ethan got picked up at lunchtime; we would come home and enjoy learning activities together and going for walks to the park. I love to be outside whatever the weather!
After picking up Eve I would help her with reading or any tasks set by school, serve dinner and tidy up before going home.
I still continue to babysit which includes getting the kids bathed and ready for bed.
(when I first started the position I would care for Ethan all day as he was not yet at nursery)
Kai and Mia – September 2014 – December 2015
I started collecting Kai (9) and Mia (6) from their school at 3.15 Monday - Friday. I would bring them home supervise any homework, drop off to brownies/cubs and cook dinner until 7pm.
I continued this routine until February 2015 when I started my new job. Kai and Mia then attended an after school club which I would pick them up from straight after work and take them home until their mum returned home.
I can provide excellent references for all of these jobs if needed.
