I’m Alanna I live with my husband Carl, our two daughters Aria age 12, Luna age 6 and our cocker spaniel therapy dog, Torvi and Bella. We live near Christ the King School in Bramley.
Open TERM TIME only.
Please note I do not offer wrap around care for children attending other settings or schools and do not offer holiday care.
My Experience
Ofsted Good rating received at last inspection in December 2023. My childcare experience consists of having worked within a nursery caring for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. I have worked as a childminder since 2012 looking after children from 6months to 11 years including home educated children, twins and children with SEN. My daughter Aria is currently in year 7 at Leeds West and Luna is in year 2 at Beecroft primary school. Please note I don’t offer wrap around care for children of school age or holiday care.
I love looking after children I seek to provide a supportive, yet stimulating environment for your child, so that they may play, grow and develop with confidence in a family environment.
I work inline with the EYFS, Early Years Foundation Stage and received a GOOD grading at my last inspection. I use a password protected paperless online system. This enables you to be updated on your child's progress, receiving regular pictures and updates.

I have experience with twins, home schooled children, newborns and I also have experience with children with additional needs. I'm willing to support parents who continue to breastfeed, having breastfed my own daughters I understand how important this is.

Prices are inclusive of trips, entrances to groups, food & drinks.

Our son has been coming to Alanna’s since September 2021. He has Autism and has really thrived while being in Alanna's Care. They go out and about all the time, and she is really patient and accommodating with him. We are dreading leaving her care next September when he starts school. We wish he could stay forever! Alanna is really the best with supporting him and us when it comes to Autism and giving us Advice. Really can’t recommend anymore, you would be a fool to not want your child in Alanna’s care she really is the best!

My Daughter has never interacted with other children or been left with anyone apart from me and Dad. She had additional needs, including autism and ADHD. On first meeting Alana, it was like I had known her forever! She has a very easygoing nature but is absolutely qualified to the hills! She knows her stuff and once you go there and see how much work she has done to her home to accommodate the children, you will see why I felt so comfortable leaving our child in Alana's care. She is very flexible and offers so much to suit your circumstances, It really is like your part of the family. My Daughter thrived and her confidence grew so much. The balance Alana has created between structure and play is amazing, I really don't know how she does it. They go to playgroups and have day trips regularly. My Daughter is due to start School and that is the only reason she no longer attends. I would definitely recommend Alana and even if you are not sure, please just go have a chat and a visit. She will put your mind at rest and honestly If I ever needed to use a Childminder again, she would be my first choice. Thank you so much Lala we are really going to miss you and all the best for the future! X

My daughter has been going to Alanna for more than a year and loves being there. Every morning she runs inside smiling. We get photos every day and her development is going really well

Absolutely over the moon we chose Alanna to look after our daughter. She loves it so so much! She has loads of fun, eats well and it’s almost like she’s part of the family. She’s come on so much since starting! 100% recommend!!

My little girl has been at Lala’s just coming up to a year now and she is going back again in September. Alanna is brilliant with my little girl, she absolutely adores her, she has come on massively being at Lala’s and really enjoys it. I would honestly not have her go anywhere else, she really amazing!

My daughter has been attending Lalas land since November 2021, she thoroughly enjoys all the playgroups and activities Alanna takes her too. She settled in so easily after previously struggling to separate from me in a different setting and this was due to Alannas caring and welcoming approach.
Alannas therapy dog Torvi is amazing with the children and my daughter has really taken to her.
Overall a brilliant childminder with excellent communication, leaving me reassured when I leave my little girl in her care.

Alanna cared for my 9year old son for 3 months by picking him up from school. She was amazing with my son and treated him as her own. My son had a great time in her care and enjoyed interacting with the other children. Alanna communicated effectively with me, she’s approachable and I felt safe leaving my son with her. We had to say goodbye as my current work shift allows me to pick him up from school myself. I had no concerns with the care provided and I will definitely use her services again in the future if we ever needed a childminder.
I will high recommend her services as she’s understanding, flexible and good at what she does.

Alana looked after my son Marcel over year. She was great my son was safe when was with her. Always happy and friendly doing all hard work with kids. My son really like spedind time with her daughter Luna his best friend feeling like at home. My son starting Reception from September thats why we have to say goodbay. Highly recommended !!! 😊

Excellent childminder! Alanna has cared for us 10 months old son. She is excellent at her job. We didn’t have encountered any problems with regards to her abilities as a childminder. She is caring and loving, she was providing me with daily updates on our son progress, photos of his daily activities. Our son was always fully fed and happy. Alanna’s flexibility and affordable rates make her an excellent choice for working parents. She is so understanding and kind. We would recommend her to anyone looking for amazing childminder. And we're sure that we will use her service again in a future.

Alana was a lifesaver during these recent unprecedented times.
During the COVID-19 outbreak she provided, at a very short-notice, childminding services to our 3-year old twins.
They settled-in very well within the first few days.
They were very well looked after and happy at the end of each day.
Alana has the skills, the tools and the space to provide alternative childcare for those who need it.
She has an innate patience and way for taking care of young children that every parent would be jealous of.
