My Summary
Maternity Nurse & Night Nanny
About Me
I have a wealth of professional experience across many different settings, working with children and babies from new born through to school age. Having initially trained in Child Development I have since broadened my qualifications to include Paediatric Speech and Language Development, Management and Maternity Nursing (Non-Medical.) Working with children and their families has always been a magical and rewarding experience that holds new and exciting challenges each day as a child learns and develops new skills. I provide a knowledgeable background in child developmental milestones and an awareness of how to create an environment that supports a child through these stages. I am very passionate about supporting parents and their new-born babies with a wide range of advice including, developing routines, breastfeeding support, confidence building and helping to create a calm and organised first few weeks/months following a new baby’s arrival. I am also very sibling friendly and can support siblings with adapting to their new life when the baby arrives.
I have excellent work ethics and am very conscientious in all I do. I am a friendly, flexible and approachable person who has respect for others. I am a caring, warm and passionate person who is willing to go over and beyond what is expected. I am very reliable and have endless amounts of patience in all situations. I am a very positive person with an empathetic approach. I work in a gentle and guiding way that empowers a parent to be confident and ensures that the first few weeks at home are restful and enjoyable. I create a warm and loving bond with each child whilst maintaining professionalism and respect for the whole family.
