My Experience

I have been working in childcare for 16 years in various of roles. Varying from preschools, schools & childcare management. Since 2018 I have been nannying with various families.

My current family ending Aug/Sep are with a family of 5. 1 year old twins & older sibling. Have been with the family since twins were 8 weeks old. Have had soul care of the children since 6 months. Helping parents get a routine together, preparing nutritional meals for the family, activities for all children, pick up& drop offs for school, reading and bedtime routine.

Prior to that my role was a lovely family of 4, x2 girls. The role included the day to day running of the house, preparing fresh nutritional meals for the children, coming up with games and activities, helping with homework and revision, drop off and pick up to and from school, attending clubs etc.

Prior to becoming a nanny I was a manager of a children’s club ranging from the age of 4-11. Day to day role included the health and well-being of the children, providing stimulating age appropriate activities, hitting the criteria in making sure they have the right nutritional food. have had experience in three settings all ranging from different ages.

Before becoming a manager of a children’s club I was a childcare practitioner in a preschool setting. In this role I did a lot of 1:1 care with children with additional needs, using makaton, PEC cards and games to encourage speech and language. This was such a fun role, I really enjoyed the children literally growing in front of your eyes. They go from not recognising their name to being able to write, getting themselves dressed and becoming more and more confident. Age range 2-4

• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
