My Experience
Over 20 years experience supporting families and their children from their homes, crèche, playgroup, nursery and on the poolside as a Swimming Teacher.
Cared for a range of ages - new-born to 18yrs.
Have just completed 3 years employment as an Early Years Practitioner at Law Nursery. Being self?motivated, I keep up to date with policies and training on a local, Council and National level. I know
how to plan, implement and facilitate age and stage appropriate activities in a safe, fun and creative environment. Experienced in tracking and implementing Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence, Getting it Right For Every Child with focus on Wellbeing, Numeracy and Literacy.
7 years ad hoc work through East Lothian Council's Nursery Nurse supply list. Have worked with many different Practitioners in different state ran Nurseries. Able to adapt quickly with change showing a can-do attitude.
Ran a creche for 2 winter seasons in the French Alps.
I have many years experience teaching children how to swim, building water confidence and improving swimming technique in a private capacity and at several local swimming clubs.
Have provided respite and 24hour care.
Experienced in many domestic duties, eg, cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organising.
