About Me
I am a qualified teacher and mum of two children. I fully understand the stages of development and can support children through this. My own experience of parenthood has given me an insight into the needs of the younger child. In May 2024 I received training in the changes to the early years foundation stage and will plan my days to meet these stages through a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors. Getting outside as much as possible for physical activity, fresh air and learning is a vital part of every day as is the role of indoor learning through play and planned activities.
My Experience
I have 10 years teaching experience, teaching age 2 to 18. Over the last 6 years I have worked with ages 2 to 10, following a diverse child centred curriculum. I have a full and varied knowledge of play, education, nurturing and planning to meet individual children's needs. My experience has taught me to understand children's learning and to adapt accordingly. I place great value on the importance of communication with the parents in supporting the fundamentals of looking after their children.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I am only offering term time care but am not charging any half fees or retainers in any holidays.
In all the prices meals and snacks are included
Before school care - 7:30 to drop off £5
After school care - pick up till 5.30 £13.50
Sibling discount available on request
