About Me
I registered to be an Ofsted registered childminder in June 2009. I have 2 children aged 31 and 29 years. My daughter is currently registered to work with me as an assistant and has NVQ in childcare. She is also just in the process of completing her course to be a childminder herself. We live in a large secure house within easy reach of local schools and nurseries. I have a playroom that is full of toys to suit all your childs developement needs.
I currently have 15 children in my care, although they'r not here all at the same time, they all get on really well and enjoy thier time here.
I take the children to the local parks and farms and on outings weather permitting, local playgroups and playgrounds.
We also visit playcentres such as jungle mania, monkey business and runaround.
We do various arts and crafts, painting, colouring, baking, card making are just a few, we're always busy.
I offer a loving family environment where the childs health and well being is always paramount. The children here are treat like part of the family.
I offer full and part time places all year round, I currently have a number of vacancies for all age groups.
I currently drop and collect children at Intake primary school, woodhouse west primary and Aston springs primary school.
I am accredited so able to offer funded spaces should they be required for ages 2,3 and 4 year olds and 9 months when the new funding comes in.
My Experience
I have been a registered chldminder for over 13 years now. My training and developement is ongoing.
I care for children of various ages, ranging from 6 months upto 10 years, they all enjoy it here.
On my recent inspection in July 2022 I was graded good with outstanding features.
My Qualifications
I have completed my paediatric first aid certificate, online safe guarding children course. I have just completed my advanced safeguarding, I also have my certificate from sheffield City Council for Safeguarding children.
I attend any workshops that are available to enable me to continue my developement and provide excellent childcare facilities.
I am currently doing numerous courses on various matters, such as child developement and every child a talker.
I follow the EYFS framework
My Availability
I am available full or part time all year round.
I am more than happy to collect the child/ren from home if I am available.
I will collect from all local schools and nurseries.
