About Me
Hi I'm Clare. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live with my husband, our beautiful daughter who was born Nov 2016 and second little girl was born in Feb 2021.
My Experience
I have worked with children in different settings for over 18 years, as a nanny, childminder, in nurseries and school settings.
I love how every child learns differently and teaches me something new every day. Life is an adventure and there is fun in everything.
Children learn so differently and uniquely I try to bring that to my setting with a variety of activities, outings and social settings. I have a dedicated playroom with a wide array of resources for children to choose what they would like to play with, and challenging and extending their learning with every chance.
I feel children learn best when copying and playing with other children and within my setting we have a lovely age range and mix of abilities for the children to extend all of their development.
I have worked with children from 8 weeks old to 18 years old.
I also have special needs experience working as a weekend rest bite carer for a family.
I have a clean driving license and 7 seater fully insured car with child seats to fit all ages.
My Qualifications
I have the CACHE level 3 diploma in Childcare 2005 and updated my knowledge with the Home Based Childcare Award November 2017. I have safeguard training am also first aid qualified (March 2023). DBS checked for both myself and husband, I am interested in british sign language and have my BSL level 1,and continue to development my knowledge in this area.
My Availability
I offer care for children under 5 years.
I offer term time only placements.

Our little one was 7 weeks old when Clare first cared for him. It was our first night out and we were petrified of leaving him. We don't have family to care for him and had to have a lot of trust. We saw all her certificates from baby sign to first aid, she met with me and then brought them all again to show my husband the night she baby sat for us.
Clare gave us updates and assured us that he had settled for the night. She competently bottle fed and cared for him at such a young and difficult age.
Our little one is growing fast and is happy to fall to sleep on Clare. She keeps him active and does new things with him.
Knowing that we can go out and he is not only safe but cared for so well is priceless. We're very glad we have Clare to sit for us.
