I am an Ofsted registered childminder who gained an Outstanding Ofsted report on my first inspection (May 2012) and again in Jan 2014. I live with my 12-year-old daughter. We have 1 cat and 2 dogs.
My Experience
I am a trained Nursery Nurse and I have 20+ years experience of working with children of varying ages and abilities within a school and nursery class environment. I have worked as a 1-to-1 special needs assistant supporting children in mainstream schools. I have also completed my Foundation Degree in Early Years. I have worked as a childminder for 10 years now and have also trained as a Forest School Leader (level 3) and enjoy being outdoors.

My Availability
I work as a childminder and am available to work 3 long days a week (tues-thurs). I am available to babysit in the evenings (weekdays or weekends) and can do overnight stays if needed. Babysitting from 6 pm onwards is £10 per hour
I accept childcare vouchers and offer government-funded places; however, I have had to introduce a consumables charge due to sustainability issues. This is £2 per funded hour.
I collect and drop off at all the schools and pre-schools in the wendover area.

Jenny, has been my sons childminder for nearly a year now. I can definitely say Jenny doesn't see looking after the children purely as a job, she see it as a vocation. She is just good at making her home a comfortable learning experience for all the children. I use Jenny as the wrap around care for my son before and after primary school. Jenny is great as she provides any evening meal for my son which means he doesn't have to wait in the evening for us to eat.
School holidays are also great as she organises trips, my son has just been to Amersham fire station with a trip on the train too. Jenny also has an assistant which makes school picks up easier if smaller children are sleeping.
It is lovely to also see the special needs children so welcomed into the warm home environment.
10 out of 10 for such wonderful childcare and such a lovely person.
