My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children since the age of fourteen.
I nannied living both in and out of family homes during my school and university years.
I worked as a teaching assistant before training as a primary school teacher in 2002.
I worked as an infant and nursery class teacher for ten years specialising in the Foundation Stage - 2 to 5 year olds.
I then become a self employed child minder so I could work from home when my son was younger. I did this for 5 years before returning to working in a preschool alongside nannying for a family with 2 year old twins.
I am currently employed as a weekend matron at Wymondham college prep school working with 9-11 year old children.
I have decided to start early years childminding again and have joined a childminding agency.
I will be offering three or four full days childcare a week and will have availability for 3 children from ages 1 to 5 years from 8am to 6pm so that people can use their 15 or 30 hour funding entitlement with me.

My Qualifications

GCSE and A levels including Child Development and Psychology
Degree in English and Primary Education
PGCE in primary/early years teaching
Introduction to Childminding
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding Training
Positive Handling Training
Equality and Diversity Training
Parents Early Education Partnership Practitioner

My Availability

From November 2024
Monday Tuesday and Wednesday (and possibly Thursday) 8am to 6pm

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.50 per hour
