About Me
Hi new parents! I live in the Blackfen area. I collect and drop off at Our Lady of the Rosary.
I have over 28 years experience in childminding. I have two children of my own though they are independant and not included in my numbers. I have a garden and age appropriate toys. I incorporate many activities into our week ie library visits, M & T sessions and soft play. Arts/crafts are all to hand along with puzzles, playdough and all other childhood toys, all in a stimulating environment.
I am a happy friendly person and enjoy my work immensely. I am Ofsted Registered and all my policies and procedures are up to date re: CRB, Peadiatric First Aid, car insurance, Safeguarding Children and public liability insurance.
My Experience
I provide a safe, loving, caring environment. As mentioned before I have 28 years experience from birth to 11 years old plus my own children, who are now independent. I think I have covered all areas of childcare and have experience of the autistic spectrum.
Birth to Three Matters, A Unique Child, Every Child Matters and EYFS are all incorporated in our activities and I have all the necessary training in these areas.
Learning through play, stimulation, day trips, soft play areas, park, library and all other aspects of childhood activities are incorporated in my setting. Sand and water play, puzzles, books, colouring and drawing, play dough, clay, dressing up, arts and crafts and numerous other activities are all available on a day to day basis.
