PAULINE'S HOME FROM HOME CHILDCARE
Hi, my name is Pauline and I have been a registered childminder since 2010. I am located in Cherrybank Walk in Airdrie which is situated just behind Monklands Hospital.
I live with my husband and our two daughters Megan and Ciara who are 22 & 18. I love working with children and I want to provide families with quality childcare from a homely environment.The emphasis in my home is very much about having fun, children learn a great deal when having FUN. Monthly topics are planned with the children and we plan the activities around this.
Throughout the week we go to Toddler Groups / Softplay/ Library/ Rhyme Time / Walks to the woods / Visits to the park.
I offer full / part-time places as well as before / after school places. I also do nursery drop offs and nursery pick ups.
At the moment I am looking after children from 1 - 9 years old, some of these children I have been looking after for 7 years and with it being a mix of ages the children all get to know each other very well, from the youngest to the oldest child, I think every child learns something from each other..
My Experience
I have been an early years worker since 1993 and have worked in a variety of daycare settings, i have also been a nursery manager for 6 years where i gained invaluable experience, i have also been involved in running 2 parent and toddler groups and was a parent helper organising the funbags at Devonview nursery.
I am currently attending courses run by NLC to develop my skills and also to keep up to date with current legislation.
I was registered by the food standards agency and have an up to date first aid certificate. .

Overall
Over the past year Pauline has taken care of my three children. She has provided after school care for my eldest son (5) and through the day care for my daughter (3) and youngest son (1).
Pauline, not only provides quality childcare in a homely environment but she plans and organises many fun educational visits and has taught my children many different relevant themes. She offers a variety of experiences to suit the individual needs of each of my children.
I am kept informed of all their activities, through her monthly newsletter, wall displays, photograph albums, Assessment folders and our daily diary.
Pauline's qualifications are apparent in her highly professional manner, her clear policies and her wonderful communication. I was able to return to work with great confidence knowing my children were in very capable hands.
Most importantly my three children are all very happy in Pauline's care and speak highly of her.
It is for all these reasons that I would unreservedly recommend Pauline to anyone looking for childcare.
