My Experience

I have worked in primary schools, as a private nanny and in a children's early years centre for over 21 years.

I was in my previous position for 13 years, caring for children from 3 months to 4 1/2 years., When I left I was Nursery Practitioner in the baby room for children aged 3 months to 19 months.
My reason for leaving was my relocation from Greenwich to Norwich.

After my move to norwich I was a room supervisor in a nursery that is strongly influenced by Montessori.
My reason for leaving this position was to look after my own daughter following the birth of her baby who lives at her own home.


I have worked with and cared for children across all ages from 3 months to 11 years.
I have excellent working knowledge of EYFS.
Some knowledge of Montessori.
I am also a qualified Baby Massage Teacher.
I teach parents/carers how to massage young babies, creating and supporting the bond between baby and its main carer, benefits of massage and techniques that will relieve some ailments.
I am currently supporting SEN children aged 8-9 years in mainstream school from 8.15am until 3.30pm.

Early Years Learning Practice Qualification through the Open
University.
I have NVQ3 in Childcare.

First Aid in Paediatrics

Full CRB check
Various courses attended as part of my Early Years work on special needs, such as,
Speech and language
Listening skills
Eating and drinking
Terrible Twos
ECAT (Every Child A Talker)

Experience and understanding of raising boys in the 21st century.

My Availability

My availability is limited at the moment due to my current working hours but if you think I can help, do ask. I'm up for occasional hours to something on a regular basis.
After Christmas, I will be looking for a new adventure to begin in the coming new year, are you it? ?

A job share with another family is a possibility.

Hours are negotiable!
Maximum of 3 children, 1 of which should be a confident walker. ( this does not exclude twin or triplet babies)
I am not ofsted registered as I am not a childminder.
I will work in the home occupied by the child / children I look after.
I will not be available for holidays abroad.
I will not look after very sick children, they need their own parents at this time.
If I am not required to work contracted hours I will still be expected to get paid for my time.

I would prefer not to be required to work after 6pm unless prearranged.

I am mainly looking for a nanny / mothers help position


If you would like to discuss any possibilities, I am open to negotiations.
I'm really flexible and understand how difficult it can be getting childcare for odd days, unsociable hours.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)

Salary to be discussed in person.

Your child will get my experience in care, nurturing, attention and skills.
