My Experience
My childcare journey began over a decade ago when I spent a year living in Australia and discovered my love for nannying. When I returned to the UK, I continued in the role and, after finding the right fit, spent five wonderful years with one family—building strong, lasting relationships and supporting their children through key stages of their development.
For the past five years, I’ve worked at a specialist SEN college, supporting young people with additional needs. During this time, I was trained to deliver Animal Assisted Therapy interventions—something I’m passionate about—and I am also completing my Level 3 in Counselling, with plans to begin Level 4 this year.
With a wealth of experience in both home and educational settings, I bring warmth, creativity, and a trauma-informed, empathetic approach to my work. I’m currently looking for nannying opportunities during evenings or weekends, with more availability in the school holidays.
