About Me
I'm an Ofsted Registered Childminder offering a home from home environment.
I am a mum of 4, my eldest is 17, my middlies are 13 and 9 and my youngest is 5. I have worked with children for 22 years. I live at home with my children, my husband, and our family pet dogs, Pablo, Lola and Daisy who are Shih-Tzu mixes. We live in the Brooklands area.
We regularly go on trips out to local parks, woods, farms, play groups, zoo, shops and to local places like the library.
My last Ofsted inspection was March 2025 and was graded Good.

My Experience
I have worked with Children for 22 years age ranging from 0yr-15yrs.
I have worked in a wide range of settings including Schools, playgroups, Nurseries, Home Help and Pre-schools.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 2 in Childcare
NVQ Level 3 in childcare
Level 3 in homebase Childcare
First Aid
Safeguarding children
Level 2 Food hygiene
My Availability
My working hours are Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm.
I am happy to work outside of these hours if needed.
I currently have an early years space on Mondays and Wednesdays from January 2024

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees are £6.50 per hour between the hours of 8am-6pm. This includes all outings and meals.

Shelley is nurturing and kind. We feel secure knowing our son is in a home from home setting where he is able to develop in a secure environment. She selects activities to keep him engaged every day (that’s no mean feat! He is always on the go so gets easily bored). He was actually due to start preschool this term but we couldn’t bear to take him out of Shelley’s setting. I have total admiration for any childcare professional and Shelley in particular! 😊

Shelley has been taking good care of my daughter since she was one year old and she's great with kids. My LO loves spending time with her, they always do different activities and games and she has developed lots thanks to her. I am very happy with her service and I really hope we can continue having her as the LO childminder. Shelley always tries to accommodate to the hours I need and she's very flexible and reasonable. She has helped me a lot. I definitely recommend her services.

My daughter has been with Shelley since she was 1 year old. Shelley is a lovely person and accommodates my super early starts and can be flexible if I need extra hours due to work commitments. My daughter loves going to her and is coming on leaps and bounds developmentally. She provides a varied diet and always gives me a brief at the end of each day on everything my daughter has eaten and done. Her house is always very clean and tidy and I am very happy with the care she provides.

I sent my eldest to Shelley when she was 9 months old in 2018 and she left November last year as I started Matterity leave ready for my second daughter my daughter come On leaps and bounds since being in shelleys care mya was behind in development before stating no routine she now has routine and is where she needs to be at in her development stages so I can’t thanks Shelley anough she amazing highly recommend her to anyone 😊
