About Me
Hi my name is Gill I am married and have 3 children who are now adults.
Everyone at home has a CRB clearance check.I live in the centre of Horwich close to the leisure centre in a quiet cul de sac.My house is spacious with a large conservatory used as the main childcare room and a large enclosed garden for safe play.
My Experience
I have experience with children both as a mother and since 2008 as an OFSTED registered childminder.I can care from new born onwards, some of whom I have cared for from a few months old until they have started their early school years.I provide a varied range of childcare activities from home based to visits to local play centres ,parks and museums etc together with normal day to day activities.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Initial childcare training for registration.
Safeguarding children training.
Level 2 Food safety in catering.
Paediatric first aid qualification.
I have a NVQ3 in Childrens care, training and developement.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fees are charged at a minimum of £35 per day at the local rate with reduced rates for sibbling care.This includes all meals and drinks whilst in my care.
Cash,bank transfer or childcare voucher schemes are all accepted payment methods.

Gill looked after my little girl for 4 years from the age of 11 months. My daughter has now left her care to start mainstream school.
From day one, I felt reassured by Gill and confident when leaving my daughter in her care. I found Gill to be very supportive and understanding of the situation that I found myself in, having to return to work full-time following a period of maternity leave and leaving my daughter with someone new.
My daughter settled in with Gill straight away and was treated like one of the family, not only by Gill but also by the other family members who live with her. Gill ensured that my daughter had access to a good range of activities, both inside and outside of her home including attendance at play groups, Surestart groups and play centres etc. There were also, outdoor activities such as parks, playgrounds and trips to farms and beaches. She engaged in activities with my daughter which allowed her to develop towards early years learning goals. Gill has always provided a good range of healthy food and drinks both inside and outside of her home.
Gill has treated my daughter like one of her own family. She has contributed massively to my daughter becoming the well-mannered, confident, well-behaved and kind little girl that she is today. I cannot thank her enough for what she has done for us and she will always be very special to us.
I would highly recommend Gill to anyone who is looking for high quality childcare in a homely setting by someone who genuinely cares about the children that they take care of.

Gill has been our children’s childminder for 3 1/2 years since our youngest child was only 3 months old. She has has been fantastic with all 3 of our kids taking them to lots of different places and treating them like her own. Our children adore her and always look forward to going to her house! As they have grown older and gone to School, Gill has been flexible with providing wrap around care and working with my husbands shift pattern and school holidays. We can’t thank her enough for all she has done for our family.

Gill has been looking after my 2 year old son since he was 9 months old. I can't say enough good things about her, she is attentive, teaches him manners and to play well with other children. He has learnt a lot whilst under Gill's care, his speech and abilities get better and better each week. Most importantly he is really happy to go to her house every morning, he looks forward to spending time playing and being taken to regular play groups. I'm really confident leaving him in Gill's care, I know he is well looked after and plays in a safe environment. Gill's family are great and it's a very welcoming home. She has lots of experience and this certainly comes across where his care is concerned. I would recommend Gill highly as a childminder. Katie
