Hi, my name is Hayley! I am 25 years years old, from Uxbridge. I have over 6 years experience working in private nurseries, which I am currently the Deputy Manager of. I absolutely love my job and couldn’t think of a better career to be in!
My Experience
From 2012-2013 I attended college and gained my Level 2 qualification. Throughout the year, I was a student in a school placement, supporting the class teacher with the everyday learning of the pupils.
From 2014, I started my first job as an apprentice working towards my Level 3 qualification. During this time I learned how a nursery works, I gained experience of the EYFS and was responsible for my own key group. Once I became qualified, I got promoted to Room Leader of the 3-5 year old room. I worked in this position for 1 years, before starting my next adventure.
In 2016, I started my second job in a different private nursery. I worked alongside the room leader of the 2-3 year old room as the second in charge. From 2019, I was then promoted to the Room Leader of the 2-3 year old room, progressing onto third in charge in 2020.
I currently work at the same nursery as the Deputy Manager. I progressed into this role in April 2021. I am very new to the role, but so far I absolutely love it!

- Level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People’s Workforce
- Level 3 Certificate in Children and Young People’s Workforce
- Full Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace
- Level 2 in Understanding Autism
- Level 2 in Understanding Behaviours that Challenge
- Designated Safeguarding Lead
- SENCO training
- Level 2 in Understanding Childhood Illnesses (currently working towards)
I have a full enhanced DBS and am on the update service.
