Little Handprints Childminding.
Hello, my name is Nicky and I live in Chieveley, near Newbury. I am OFSTED registered and recently obtained a grading of GOOD in all areas of my Ofsted inspection on 13th June 2022. I am also a member of the Pacey.
We have a lovely house and a nice safe garden where the little one's can run free and have lots of fun..mini beasts can be discovered, and we have a lovely shaded play area for the really sunny days. With vegetable planting in the spring...!
We visit lots of different places in the surrounding villages, Thatcham and Newbury, and also spend time in Chieveley with its own children's park, recreation ground, toddler group and Childrens centre. Other local parks that we love are to be found in Boxford, Compton and Cold Ash! Sometimes its further afield and we visit Wellington Country Park, Marwell Zoo and other exciting places!
Being outside 'whatever the weather' is a key part of our day, we also spend lots of time being artistic with arts and crafts, painting, playdoh and lots of other funs things to do to keep us busy, with child led and adult led elements to the day.
We enjoy down time too in our little book corner with bean bags and throws, we occasionally watch tv but not too often, just when a little down time is needed.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 12 years and have my own children aged 18 & 15 years.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered and have recently updated both my Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training. My most recent Environmental Health inspection is a Level 5 grade.
My Availability
I will have a full time space becoming available from the latter part of 2022.
I also have before school/take to for Chieveley Primary School.

Our son Henry started with Nicky when he was 7 months old, he is now 3 and sadly we have had to move away due to work commitments. Henry simply loved Nicky and spending time at her house. Every day he was eager to tell us about his day as Nicky was always doing something fun with the kids. We always found Nicky reliable and accommodating and we very much appreciated her calm and confident manner. We will all miss her and highly recommend her services.

Nicky is wonderful! Our girls love Little Handprints, and we are very sad that our time has come to an end. The good news is that it allows some room for another lucky family to benefit!
Nicky's early advice when we were looking to move our girls closer to home was absolutely invaluable, and proves she'll go the extra mile to help. Always there to support us if we needed some extra hours, it's been a real pleasure for all the family.
Thanks for everything, we look forward to catching up when we inevitably bump into each other on the school runs!
