My Summary

My Experience

I studied for my postgraduate degree in social work at warwick university and also have a degree in history.

I have a vast amount of previous experience working with children aged 0 to 18 years old.

I have previously worked as a family support worker working with children of varying ages and their parents.

Before this i worked as primary school teaching assistant at a primary school in Bedworth in years 1 and 2.

In addition i have worked for Leamington Children's Centre and also previously volunteered at Cawston Children Centre in Rugby where I was interacting with children 0-5 and their parents undertaking various groups.

Furthermore, I also worked for Take a Break for a number of years, a Charity offering respite to children with special needs aged 5-18 which I really enjoyed. Alongside working for Brooke school in rugby as a teaching assistant.

My previous role as a learning mentor allowed me to work with children who have very specific behavioral needs. I supported them with any barriers to learning they may have such as bereavement, self esteem, anxiety, understanding their emotions etc.

Finally I also am trained in 4 different Triple P parenting programmes where i work with parents and their children to support them with behaviour strategies they can use at home to manage their children behaviour.
