About Me
Hi Everyone.. My name is Lisa Barry I am an OFSTED Registered Network Childminder, with 27 years childcare experience, including being a manager and room Leader in a nursery
Ofsted graded "Good" in 2020
Lisa's Little Learners offers a safe, nurturing environment where your child will get the attention and care that he or she needs. My ratio of children to adults is always within OFSTED guidelines - and often even lower - to make certain each child receives top-quality care.

At Lisa's Little Learners, your child will learn through play and every day experiences such as:

Our aim is to have outings every day to various toddler group , godstone farm, soft play, parks, libarys etc.
You can rest assured that your child will be cared for with kindness, love and respect. Each child will be treated as an individual with their own individual needs met.
I follow the new Early Years Foundation Stage which means you can be confident that your child will receive a quality experience that supports their development and learning.
I have a diploma in childcare level 3 and I am paediatric first aid trained. I also have completed lots of futher childcare training which is ongoing to keep me up to date within my profession.
I live 5 mins walk from coulsdon town station and 1 minute walk From 466 bus route. Large drive to allow for easy drop offs/ collection
My Experience
I have over 27 years childcare experience ranging from room leader in a Nursery school, Managing a Creche and Childminding.
I also have two adult children of my own and a small family dog

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
my fees are £80 a day between 8-6pm . This includes all meals and outings . Please contact me for further details. I can also access 9 month , 2 and 3 year funding
And accept tax free vouchers

All three of my children have been with Lisa over the past 7 years. My youngest will be leaving in September to go to big boy school and I’m gutted 😞 Lisa is absolutely amazing and I honestly don’t know how she does it! The children adore her and I have never once had any difficulty getting them to go to her of a morning. In fact they wave me off and race to the car! Even my two older girls who have moved on to school still ask to go to her in the holidays! 🥰
Her setting is homely and welcoming, yet has elements of nursery with everything the kids could ever wish to play with. She also has a lovely outdoor area which the kids love to play in when they’re having a staying in day. Lisa takes the kids out all the time! To the farm, to the park, to toddler groups, on the bus…. She has a fantastic network of childminder friends so the kids get to meet up and do larger activities together which I believe has prepared all my children brilliantly for nursery life.
I can’t recommend Lisa highly enough. She’s an absolute gem 💎

My daughter started with Lisa just over a year ago (she was 1 years old) and we couldn’t be happier. I had viewed a few nursery’s but something just didn't feel right, then I found Lisa by a recommendation and I knew straight away Lisa’s was where I wanted my daughter to go. My daughter started there on special milk that had to be kept in certain ways and this was not a problem for Lisa at all. Since being with Lisa my daughter has come on leaps and bounds developmentally and loves going to Lisa’s house. I especially love how she is made to feel like one the family and love how Lisa’s own family treat my daughter as their own. Being a first time mum I thought I would be nervous& anxious about leaving her but Lisa regularly updates us on what she has been doing throughout the day and where they have been. Lisa is also great at giving advise and parenting tips and hacks and I regularly find myself asking her questions about various things.
Overall there is nobody else i would feel happier leaving my daughter with and she regularly tells me how much she likes Lisa’ house.
I would highly recommend Lisa little learners.

Our son has been going to Lisa since he turned 1 (he is now 3.5). I viewed a few childminder facilities before he started but felt most comfortable with Lisa. From day one, we have felt confident and reassured that he was well looked after. My son absolutely loves Lisa and also all her family. We feel the children are made to feel part of the family. He is always happy to go in each day and tells me all about his day when I pick him up. Lisa also updates a book each day detailing everything our son does during the day which makes a great keepsake along with all the art he brings home. Lisa does a whole range of activities with the children including numbers, painting, songs, reading and taking them to playgroups. We really feel our son has flourished in Lisa’s care. I think the most important indication of a great childminder is a happy child who loves to go in each day and all the children in her care are always so happy to be there. We would highly recommend Lisa.

Lisa has cared for both of my sons since 8 months old - they are now 5 and 3 years. Lisa, her assistant mother, Jean and the rest of her family have provided a wonderful, secure and loving environment.. She is a caring professional with very high standards and maintains her child care education and keeps abreast of new developments/trends in her field. My boys have learned much at and enjoyed their 'second home' immensely. Lisa has been a reliable source of knowledge and I have sought her child care advice frequently over the years. Lisa has an open, reliable and practical approach to her role in caring for children. I have a great degree of comfort knowing my children are in Lisa's excellent care when not in mine. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
