About Me
I live on a quiet development close to St Albans City Hospital.
A typical day will depend on the age and stage of your child and will be based as far as possible around any existing routine. Activities outside the home will include trips to the park, Willows Farm (of which we are currently annual members), to see the animals at a local garden centre and meeting with other childminders and their charges at playgroups and open air settings. We are also fortunate to have a small playground at the end of our road suitable for pre-school children.
My main objective is that your child is safe and happy and I aim to meet each child’s individual needs by caring for them in a warm, safe and stimulating environment. I will help them achieve their development goals through play, learning and most importantly fun!
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for over 12 years (and a mum for over 20!) Having spent four years with my own children in nursery I know what a difficult decision choosing childcare can be and how hard it can be to leave your child. I am delighted to be able to offer childcare in a warm, homely environment, and to help give someone else's child the positive experiences I know mine got.

My Qualifications
I have undergone full training through the NCMA (National Childminding Association), including Safeguarding Children and Paedeatric First Aid and I am registered with OFSTED as a childcare provider.
My Availability
I will have a Wednesday full day spaces from September 2024.
Regrettably I am unable to offer 'after school only' places.
