About Me
Hi, i am an Ofsted registered childminder, i live in Huntington with my husband and three children 17, 15 and 13. I am an easy going, sociable and outgoing person who loves being outside or walking.
We live in a large house in the old village Huntington, we have a large garden with basket swing, swings, 16' trampoline and climbing frame. There is lots of room in the house and in our summerhouse for play also.
We have 2 small dogs and a cat which live with us and a covered fish pond with goldfish and carp in.
I do regular drop offs and collections to Huntington primary academy and am within walking distance.
I am available from 7am till 9pm if required and will also do weekends if need be.
I am able to take all childcare vouchers and as I achieved a good ofsted can offer free 2 & 3 year old places with council funding.
I like to encourage outdoor play, when weather permits and much prefer traditional resources rather than electronic equipment.
My Experience
I have looked after children on and off for many years, after becoming a parent i have subsequently looked after my own full time. I love being with children and became a teaching assistant when my children started primary. After moving home, i was unable to do this.
I have been a registered childminder for 3 years and find it extremely rewarding, helping educate children and giving somewhere safe and secure while parents are working.
My Qualifications
I have a childcare and development GCSE, psychology A level featuring paediatric care, first aid course, basic food hygiene, level 3 childcare.
Various prevent and safeguarding courses also completed. Good at last Ofsted inspection.
My Availability
I am available 7am till 9pm 7 days, also available in holidays. I have spaces available for under 5s all day or part and under 8s before, after school, I can accept free funding for 2,3 and 4 year olds, childcare vouchers also accepted.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
I currently charge £4 per hour during normal time, weekends negotiable.
Lunches can be provided at extra cost.

Jeanette has looked after our 3 children for the past 7 years and as a family we couldn't recommend her enough , our youngest has recently started school and we are all missing her! Jeanette is an incredibly warm and bubbly lady who has made going back to work full time so much easier as I knew the children were being looked after so well. Jeanette keeps you well informed about your childs progress and they have such great days out together. I often had problems getting my 3 to leave and despite all 3 now being at school we continue to ask Jeanette to look after them in the holidays. You really couldn't find a better person to look after your children. She really is wonderful!

Jeanette looked after my daughter for 2 years and was always accommodating to our needs as I started work early. There are plenty of activities and trips out so boredom is not an option! A warm friendly family home, i would highly recommend Jeanette to anyone.

Jeanette has looked after two of my children over the past 5 years and they have both been very happy there. There's plenty of stimulation and the kids have a great environment where they can interact or just find a quiet corner to read. Loads of space dedicated to them means they're always able to do something if they want to.
There are many occasions when I've had to adjust my pick up times due to work but this has never been a problem for Jeanette to accommodate and a call is all it takes to sort things out.
Overall, Jeanette is a fantastic childminder and the kids all seem to love going there.

Jeannette is a fantastic lady, she looked after my little boy until we moved out of the area and he loved going there. She has bags of energy and provides a stimulating environment for all the kids with plenty of resources and space. We miss her and loved all the time she spent caring for our son

I found Jeanette when I asked the local council for a list of registered childminders. I arranged to go round to meet her with my daughter (Hats) and I instantly warmed to her.
Jeanette is a very warm, bubbly, pleasant and laid back character that will do all she can to help parents. She especially went out her way for me and worked long hours because I worked shifts. She also had my daughter on Christmas Day!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately I had to change childminders because I got another job. It was a really hard decision for me. I changed jobs 4 weeks ago and since my daughter has constantly asked for Jeanette and has often cried for her. I have even cried because I know how happy Jeanette made my little girl.
Jeanette has a huge garden with loads for children to do. She has Dogs, chickens and a little kitten too. She is always aware when children are around the animals too.
Since I have moved jobs I have maintained contact with Jeanette and have arranged to go visit her with my little girl. I now class Jeanette as a friend and would still like her to see my daughter occasionally.
I also have to say that Jeanette has 3 children and a husband (Darren) whom were all fantastic and welcomed my daughter into their home. It was like Harriet was part of the family. I would always go to work feeling content that my daughter was safe, loved and would have heaps of fun that day.
I would highly recommend Jeanette to other parents and I would like to use her again in the near future if I can get the right job.
Jeanette we think you are one of the most outstanding childminders and you should be proud of what you do for families and their children.
