My Summary
About Me
I am a mum of 4 girls (32, 24, 20 & 11) and I have 1 Stepson, I am also a grandmother of 3, I live in a lovely detached house with a large garden. We have 2 very friendly dogs, a cavachon and a Labrador. I really enjoy childminding and the children in my care all seem to look forward to coming to my house.
My Experience
I have been a childminder on and off for 27+ years looking after children from a few weeks old. I love my chosen career and enjoy doing crafts with the children, sitting down reading books together, going out to forests, farm parks, toddler groups, music groups amongst lots of other activities.
My Qualifications
I have all Ofsted required training incl. Food and Safety, Safeguarding, First aid. I regularly do training on development, planning, play ideas and other relevant topics.

I have spaces available Monday to Thursday 8am - 5.30pm

Sent my little girl to Donna from 4 months until she was 2. She had an absolutely brilliant time. Donna has a lovely clean house with lots of toys and activities, and will often take the children out to local toddler groups too. We were really pleased that she settled in so well and she came on in leaps and bounds during her time there.

Thank you so much Olivia for the lovely review. I really enjoyed caring for your little one and I miss her greatly, she has grown into such a happy and kind girl and really cherish the little updates you share with me.
Donna looked after our daughter for just over a year and we couldn't of asked for a better start for her. She absolutely loved her time there. She couldn't wait to go in to play with the other children in the morning and rarely wanted to leave when we picked her up in the evening. Donna has such a lovely clean home with lots of activities to keen the children busy, we only left due to a change in our working commitments and she is very much missed.

My daughter has been with Donna since the beginning of January & absolutely loves the time she spends there. Donna offers a lovely, clean, home-from-home environment & is always very welcoming. My daughter has flourished since being in Donna's care & has continued to gain confidence in every aspect, especially academically & socially. Donna is very enthusiastic, caring, kind & gentle, but also enforces positive routines & rules for those within her care, and is very consistent with this. She has a wonderful family, who have also made a huge effort to build a relationship with my daughter, and she is very fond of them all.
Donna offers the children a wide range of activities daily. My daughter is often coming home with drawings and paintings she has done, in line with exciting themes they are following at the time. Donna cooks & bakes with the children regularly, takes them out for trips to soft play, toddler groups, parks & country parks. My daughter is always very excited & happy to tell me what she has been up to, and is always eager to return.
Our journey with Donna has been nothing but positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to prospective parents.

My son has been with Donna since the start of January this year and he has completely blossomed! He walks into Donnas house with a massive smile on his face and doesn’t look back. I don’t leave after dropping him off worrying that he’s upset because I’ve left, I know 100% that he’s so happy and settled at Donna’s house.

Our son has been in Donna’s setting since April and has settled very well into her setting. He has made great progress with Donna, both socially and academically, thanks to the wide range of activities that she does with the children. Donna’s setting has a lovely home from home feel and the children have lots of space to play and learn. Donna has a consistent approach with clear rules and routines for the children to follow which helps them to feel happy and safe in her care. Our son is always very happy when he comes home from Donna’s and is always keen to tell us about the fun things that he has done during the day. We can not fault the quality of care at Bubbles Childcare and would highly recommend this childcare setting.

My son has been going to Donna since the beginning of May and has settled in extremely well. I love the home from home aspect and Donna has a lovely setup in her home for the children and I always know he is well looked after and very happy. He goes twice a week and I am always at ease due to the fact that I know if ever there are any problems that Donna let's me know right away. She does lots of activities with the children and they have her full attention when they are there. I Would 100% recommend Bubbles childcare to anyone looking for a childminder as she is amazing with the little ones.
