My name is Lauren, I am a easy going bubbly person with a strong passion for working with children and playing a part in their growth and development.
My Experience
When doing my childcare qualifications I completed a work placement in various different settings from private provisions, state run nurseries and primary schools. On my course I had experience with children from thae ages of 4 months - 7 years.
I have worked in 4 different nurseries all based in either the baby room which has ranged from 5 weeks - 2 years or toddler room 2-3 years. I’m currently working within the toddler room as the room leader where I hold many responsibilities.
I have experience on the EYFS and SEN and I am currently my setting’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator completing my Level 3 SEND qualification.
My Qualifications
I have my CACHE Award, Certificate and Diploma in childcare Level 3 at grade C, I am also currently working towards my Level 3 in Special Educational Needs
I am first aid trained
I have my food hygiene certificate
I have gained experience with working with children with different disabilities that include: global development delay, hearing and speech impairments, autism, cerebral palsy and for 6 months I also volunteered as a centre for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
