About Me
Hello, Im Sarah, Im 42 yrs of age, living with my daughter 21 yrs at the setting.
I am a fun, loving, caring, social & out going person but children have always seem to come first with me.
I moved from London in 2004 and started Childminding in the Hampshire area having relocated. I started childminding back in 2003.
I enjoy being a childminder because each day is different and its always fun and exciting one way or another and watching / seeing children grow and achieve each day is very rewarding.
We have a 4 bedroom house which has a conservatory which is used as the main play room which has many toys for children of all ages also the dining area is used for craft play & eating area.
We have a reasonable sized and secure garden which is also used.
It is a non smoking environment.
We do have family pet dogs / puppies. who have settled well with all the children.
We do plenty of different actvitites which include going to playgroups, soft play areas, parks, adventure playgrounds, shops, the farm and many more.
I aim to get the children out and about in all sorts of weather rain or shine every day. Also have a seven seater vehicle if needed.
My Experience
I have been working with children since the age of 16yrs in many environments Nurserys, schools, Home Help, then decided to start childminding when I had my second child and she was 6 months old, when I started looking after a child the same age as her this was a great experience for myself as it was the same as having twins during the day, but it also helped my own daughter to reliese from a young age that her mum looks after other children too and now she has left home all my care has gone into looking after people's young children, also previously stopped me from having anymore children of my own.
My Qualifications
I am fully ofsted registered with a first aid certificate and liabilty insurance. I hold a full driving licence.
I have completed my NVQ2 in child care, Level 3 in Childminding Practice also Early Years Birth to Three Matters.
I also hold a Food Hygiene Certificate
Updating courses all the time.

Sarah has taken care of my daughter (started from 10 months old). They were doing a lot of activities, she was taking her to soft plays, they were drawing together and I loved when they were preparing cards for mother's day. My daughter was so happy every morning I was dropping her to Sarah and she couldn't wait to play together. Sarah is also a very caring person and excellent at communication with us so we were sure she was in good hands. Thank you Sarah!

My son loved attending Sarah's, for the last 2 years, starting just after his 1st birthday. Miles loved attending toddlers groups, going out to the park, picnics, the beach. They do lots of great activities in the setting to, reading, arts and crafts, singing, dancing. It's great to see the photos of your child at the end of the day. Sarah also takes the time to write up what your child has done during the day, which was great to talk about with my son. Sarah was great while we were potty training at home and did what we were doing which really helped him. My son loved spending time with Sarah and the other children. Also he loved spending time with the little doggys, taking them for walks, and they loved spending time with him, this gave him the opportunity to spend time with animals he does not have at home.

Sarah has looked after my little boy from when i went back to work. She made the whole experience manageable for a mum who really didn't want to leave her baby. I would highly recommend this setting for anyone looking for a childminder who will treat your child as there own.

Thank you Georgie, the cheeky monkey is missed by me amd the other children who attend on Mondays! Plus Snoop & Dre miss there mad five minutes with Amber.

Sarah has taken care of my son for nearly 3 years and I'm very grateful for her fantastic care, looking after him from his first few weeks at school when only just 4. He has lots of fun there every week and she also takes the children to different playgrounds after school. I also love the special cards and gifts the children make for their parents at Christmas & Mother's Day 😊 Sarah makes the children part of her family and my son loves being able to play with the dogs too!

Our son was with Sarah from about 6 months old until he was 3.
Every day she takes the children out to toddler groups, with so many toys and activities with other children too. At the setting they are made to feel at home, I think my son thinks it is his second home! Craft and learning activiites to suit each childs stage of development. Sarah was supportive with Every thing like weaning and potty training, doing it how we wanted but also advice if needed! Because it is a small setting she knows all the children really well and her own, older children have also been great when they are around. Lots of activities in the garden and walks to the park etc
My son has allergies and epi pens and I never felt I needed to worry.
She takes lots of photos and fills in daily record so you always can see what your child is doing.
Sarah has been a fun, caring childminder creating a home from home and I wouldn't have changed a thing, highly recommend! Thank you Sarah!
