About Me
My Name Is Tracy and I have been a registered childminder for over 20 years. I have a 3 bedroom semi-detached house with a playroom and a very large garden, which gives lots of space to run around and have fun. I have 2 older children 1 of whom is at Uni studying Sports Therapy and one who works full time as a carer for dementia patients. . My partner is an engineer and has been for the past 30 years.
Leaving your child for the first time to carry on with your chosen career can be a very difficult choice. However, I became a childminder 19 years ago to help parents feel confident and happy leaving their child in my care where I can offer them a home from home environment and help with their learning and development. I understand that the parents are the child's first and most important person in their lives and I do everything I possibly can to work in partnership with parents. This includes giving the parents a daily diary sheet of everything their child has done whilst in my care.
I use the babysdays system which allows parents to log in and see their child's daily diary sheets, any accidents or incidents recorded as they happen, all policies, contracts, and any other relevant paperwork including your child's learning journal.
I am able to offer free nursery education funding for 3 and 4-year-olds for 15/30 hours a week, and for any 2-year-olds whose parents qualify for the free nursery education for there 2-year-olds again, this is for 15 hours per week. These are available from now.
Even if you don't work and have a child who is 3 then 15 hours of free nursery education is available from the term after there 3rd birthday.

My Experience
With over 20 years of experience and the experience of bringing up my two grown-up children, I am able to help all age children with all different learning and development skills.
I have all the relevant childcare qualifications as well as the first aid certificate which is renewed every 3 years and NVQ 2 and 3 in Childcare Learning and Development. I often participate in online training.
Over the years I have learnt what children enjoy, what they really do not enjoy and most of all the trust I am able to offer to the parents and the child. Safeguarding children is paramount in my setting and with regular reviews and risk assessments I am very proud of the way I am able to offer a very safe environment, and I am constantly reflecting on my setting to see if I am able to improve.
I am very understanding and approachable. I listen to what children and parents have to say and act accordingly.
I have worked with parents whose children have had learning difficulties and helped them with planning for those children.
I had an Ofsted inspection on Wednesday 20th May 2015 and I was graded GOOD in all areas updated I had another Inspection September 2018 again graded a high GOOD

My Availability
I have spaces for all ages children part time, full time, holiday cover, shift work.
I am able to offer parents of 3/4 year olds the free 15 hours of nursery education and for parents who qualify for the 2 year nursery education. This could be rising to 30 hours per week for 3/4 year olds. Priority will be given to existing family's that receive the government nursery funding at present so please get in touch if you think you may be entitled to the funding NOW. The funding can be used for any days Monday to Friday Term Time only.

Tracy looks after both my 4yr old and 8yr old. She has been my childminder since my 4yr old was 1. She makes my children feel safe and they enjoy being with her. My children feel they can talk to her about any issues outside of the setting to. Her family also are very lovely and my children are comfortable around them too. I would highly recommend Tracy's services. I'm happy knowing I'm going to work and my children are safe and well looked after in her care.

My little boy has been with Tracey for a little over a year, he is happy and is learning lots of new things. Tracey is always accommodating with hours etc and is always happy and engaging with the kids.
My little boy starts school next year and I know he'll be sad to leave!
