l'm a mature professional nanny experienced from birth to teens, multiple births & special needs!
Homebased childcare - I'm happiest outdoors so my charges will be encouraged to explore and be active. I've walked several marathon events. I regularly run 10Ks + recently completed my second half marathon run. I love to take children to the play park for picnics or feeding the ducks. During summer holidays, l can arrange outings. We visits museums, sports centres and libraries. If we are indoors, l love doing craft and cooking with the children in my care.
Event childcare - l can provide the special couple or guests with childcare and bespoke babysitting service. Peace of mind for parents on the big day! A safe pair of hands when little VIPs get bored during the speeches! Evening babysitting or overnight childcare when the celebrations continue late into the night!
My Experience
BACKGROUND - I have 3 decades of childcare experience. I started as a qualified teaching assistant, play worker + nursery nurse before spending many years as a mother's help, daily + night nanny and proxy parent and foster care family supervisor. Also trained as a maternity nurse and postnatal carer! l have a wealth of experience from birth right through to teens, multiple births and special needs.
PRESENT - I work with many professional parents; mainly doctors over the past 20 years. Usually with children aged newborn - 12 years, often caring for multiple charges aged under 5! I love that age group and have developed a wealth of knowledge and experience with young children . my current charges range from babies, toddlers to children aged 8 yrs old.
I'm qualified as a maternity nurse so can offer postnatal support and newborn care to families.
l offer weekend babysitting, and event childcare such as weddings and family gatherings. if parents are away or working abroad, l can offer proxy parenting

My Fees
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
Being self employed means l can take temporary bookings with ease.
Day time rate is £17 an hour (self employed)
So much cheaper compared to employed nannies working for the same rate. Parents do not incur the employers national insurance, holiday pay and pension contributions!
