Hello, my name is Shirley. I am fortunate that I live an extremely happy and contented home life with my husband, and lovely dog!! My hobbies include singing - I am a member of two choirs and regularly sing in concerts and I also enjoy cooking, dancing, and of course walking the dog.
I have a kind, caring personality. As a Nanny, I am extremely responsible and of course have a sense of humour!
My Experience
I have worked in the Childcare sector for many years, as an Ofsted Registered Childminder, Nursery Nurse, and for the past thirteen years as an Ofsted Registered Nanny. I have enjoyed working in all of these different Childcare environments, and have learnt so much from each job. I am very interested in childhood development, and help babies and toddlers learn through play.
I am currently working for a delightful family (having been with them since May 2023), and their gorgeous son aged twenty months. The little boy has started Nursery part time, and I continue to be his Nanny for two days per week. I am therefore seeking a new position, for one to two days in north/northwest/central London.
