My Summary
About Me
Hi my name is Charlotte. I have worked in a private day nursery for the past 9 years and have an NVQ level 3 in chidcare.I have been a nanny for 4 years and I have worked for a family of 3 children all under 7 and close in age. I currently look after another little girl who I have had from a year old.
I have also been looked after twin babies for 18 months and have gained new experience and the skills required to look after 2 babies of the same age. I looked after them from the age of 3 months. This has been very pleasurable and rewarding.
I then went on maternity leave and my little girl is now 17 months.
I currently have availability 2 days a week, possibly 3 and would prefer term time and will be bringing my little one to start with until she starts nursery. She’s very sociable and loves other children.
I can do between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm although I’m happy be flexible on hours.
I am very experienced in child development and general knowledge of care. I have worked with children aged 3 months-6 years but have mostly worked with children under 2 ,particularly babies.
I have also done many courses during my years in childcare including children's behaviour, health and safety, first aid, safeguarding children and food hygiene .
I have always found looking after children very rewarding and really enjoy working with them and watching them grow and develop. I also have good knowledge of the local area and places to take the children including soft plays, parks and toddler groups.
I am happy to prepare fresh home cooked meals and also do housekeeping and will always make sure the house is left clean and tidy.
I have 4 children of my own and 3 are school age. so I am also experienced in having the general knowledge and common sense of a parent.

We hired Charlotte when our twin girls were only three months old. I was really struggling and her help, support and ability to take the initiative was invaluable while my brain was in the depths of sleep deprivation!
We had an extra hard time with one of our daughters as she had what turned out to be celiac disease (though we didn't figure this out until she was 15 months!), so she was ill a lot, constantly screaming and we were always changing and eliminating things from her diet trying to get to the bottom of it. Charlotte was amazing at keeping on top of her needs, and being unwaveringly calm whether it was the girls crying or me!
Charlotte helped me get the girls into a routine with napping, feeding and would stay late to help with bath time when needed. She always went above and beyond, clearly loved the girls (and the feeling is mutual!), and the house was always so tidy!
Charlotte left in June 2018 to have her own baby, otherwise I hope she'd still be with our family. I think she had maybe two days off sick in the 18 months she worked with us, and continued as long as she could even though her pregnancy was taking its toll.
I cannot recommend her highly enough, in case that wasn't obvious :) And I'm so happy to still catch up with Charlotte and her new baby for playdates, now as friends.
