About Me
I am a qualified childminder on Crownhill I am registered with Ofsted and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage "Every Child Matters. My grading from ofsted is "Good" .
I became qualified in 2009 following my decision to stay at home with my second son. I moved with my family, to our new home in August 2007 and the larger house with all my experiences allows me to offer childminding services. I empathise on how stressful and difficult finding the right childminder can be and the stress it can cause, as i was not fortunate enough with my first child to stay at home having to return to full time employment and had to find a child minder myself. I am a loving, careing mother and i offer a homely, child centred, nurturing care which provides a stable environment for children to feel safe and thrive. My Husband has joined forces with me and has become my assistant and we work well as a team. We are very active in our days visiting parks, organised day trips, structured activities eg arts and craft, woodland walks, (We are members of the National Trust), we attend 360 play centre weekly for fun and free play, we go on picnics and visit places of interest for the children. We are child focused and place children's priorities very high, our aim will be to meet your child's individual needs whilst having fun, learning and developing, which we will discuss following a consultation with yourself
My Experience
Firstly I am a Mum of 2 my oldest being 21 and my youngest aged 14 I have been a registered childminder for over 13 years and i have also had a life time career in caring and supporting vulnerable people including children. I have spent most of my spare time looking after and bringing up family and friends children until i had my own. I left my job as a manager of a housing association after I became pregnant with my second child and decided to stay at home and offer a loving environment childminding service. I have gained lots of valuable experience in caring and supporting children/Adults as well as developing empathy and understanding. These skills help me offer a well rounded experience for any children in my care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
All fees are discussed at our first initial meeting where i can give you an accurate price for your requirements.... All meals are included in my prices along with our weekly outings

On our initial meeting I will give you a "Parents Information Booklet" to take away This contains information i have put together about myself, my family and the care i provide This will give you all the information you need before making a decision to place your child within my care.

Marie looked after my son for a year before he started school. He was always looking forward to what his day would bring with all the activities and walks.
Even though he wasn't too forthcoming with what he did as most children aren't, Marie's daily diary and handover kept we well up to date. And her home made food is amazing.
We only changed childcare due to a change of circumstances.
I would recommend MCS childcare to anyone :-)
