About Me
I accept government vouchers, childcare vouchers & tax free scheme payments.
I have 2 children of my own a 19 yr old boy & 17 yr old girl.
I live in Chorleywood close to St. Clement Danes school.
I can do nursery drop offs & pick ups if they are after 9 & before 3pm.
We live in a modest semi detached house with a lovely garden for outside play where there is an area for adventure play & a paved area for sand & water play or chalking or even scooting!!
Inside I have a quiet room for story time, play dough or doing puzzles & general play, there is also an activity room for watching t.v or colouring & sticking, dressing up & imaginative play... there's so much to do.
I like to get out everyday either in the garden or in the local community.
All the children have individual learning plans which allows them to progress on an individual level & allows me to be specific to their needs.
I am very experienced in what I do but most important I enjoy what I do.
My approach with my child minding is very home from home, from comfortable movie time, building towers or learning to write their names. I treat every child as I would my own with love, care.
I have cared for children from 6 months old up to the start of their school days.
I am flexible with child care requirements so please do not hesitate to ask any questions.
My Experience
Mother of two - 19 years
Residential Social worker in child protection - I was based in North London for four years & worked predominately with mothers & babies in a unit for assessment of parenting & life skills. I worked with babies from birth & parent into their 50's.
Nursery nurse - I have worked in the local area for 8 years, the nursery has since closed but I can still obtain references. As a nursery nurse i cared for approx 20-30 children providing all aspects of care from nappy changing to creating & implementing learning plans. It was my duty to ensure all children were cared for & that individual needs were identified & met.
Nursery cook - I devised & provided nourishing meals for children ages 14mnths - 5years as well as worked on the floor with the children when required to, I did this for 1 year.

I will have some full-time or part time place available in the coming months due to school age children moving around, requirements are fairly flexible please do ask.

Our 18mo has just started to go to Maxine and after 3 months of lockdown we were really nervous, but Maxine has been so flexible with getting the timings right for our son and making sure he's happy first and foremost!

Maxine is a warm and caring childminder. Our son immediately settled with her and was always very happy to go to her house. She is great at communicating and is very flexible and understanding. Our son enjoyed an array of different activities with Maxine. I would highly recommend Maxine to other parents.
