My Experience

- Over 11 years experience babysitting children from newborn - 13 years.


Nanny experience ...

2014 - 2016. full time Nanny to three boys, twins age 7 and little boy age 2. My current routine, with the youngest involves being out every morning, swimming, tots fc, trampolining, music class, playgroups, playdates and then we spend afternoons around the house, so I can get a few jobs done, their washing, tidying playroom, preparing dinner for when the twins finish school. If we get chance we sometimes bake cupcakes or do some arts and crafts. Once the twins finish school it's reading/homework/outside play then dinner time. During half term I will have all three children and we will go on trips, to the zoo, picnics in the park, visit museums, go to the cinema. Occasionally I will finish later and do bath and bedtime. I've also had sole charge of the children if the parents have travelled with work or for pleasure.
Unfortunately once the youngest turns 3 this summer he will have a school nursery place so I will no longer be needed. Therefore I am now looking for a new position to start in a few months time.

2013 -2014 Nursery assistant in sale, Where I was based in the baby room, where I had responsibility of up to 3 babies. Changing nappies, planning age appropriate activities, feeding meals etc.

2012-2013 ...Lived in as an au pair in New York for 13 months, starting ages were new born, 2 years & 5 years old. Childcare duties would involve, waking, preparing bottles, changing, feeding children, School drop off & pick up, arranging playdates, organising extra curricular activities (tennis & swimming lessons) Children's laundry, meal planning & food shopping. Travelling on holiday, providing 24/7 childcare if parents travelled without children.

2010-2012 ... Mothers help to a family with two girls in Bowdon. Starting ages 2years & 6 months. I worked for the family for two years before moving to New York. Childcare duties would involve, bathing, feeding, changing children, planning and taking part in activities, trips to the swimming pool, parks & museums. Putting the children to bed. Light household tasks. I also have travelled over seas with this family when the parents needed to work away.
