My Summary
About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder based in Ditton. I have a son who is 19 years old and a daughter who is 13.
I am very artistic and spend lots of time with the children completing art work such as painting, sticking, junk modelling, baking etc.
I have a large variety of toys for all age groups and am able to offer all children a fun and stimulating experience whilst with me.
I have a large garden with a selection of outdoor toys including a wooden play house with kitchen etc, sand pit, climbing frame, cars, diggers and ride ons.
I enjoy taking the children on outings and regularly visit Leeds castle and the museum of Kent Life which i have annual passes for both.
I am able to do school runs to Aylesford primary school and Poppy's pre school.
I am ideally situated for parents that work at Maidstone hospital.
I provide all children with a detailed observation folder which will show their learning progress. This is available for the parent to see at any time they wish and will go with the child when they leave the setting. The folder includes observations, photographs and art work.
My Experience
I have 20+ years experience in working with children. My experience ranges from nursery work, nannying, creche work and working as a family support worker.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered and have my NVQ level 3 in childcare and education. I have an appointed persons first aid certificate and also the paediatric first aid certificate. I have attended courses recently in administering medication, infection control, health and safety and fire prevention. Whilst working as a family support worker i also attended regular courses for child protection.
I have just had my ofsted inspection and have been graded 'Good'.
My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday from 7.30-17.30.
