About Me
Hello...My name is Shirley and i am ofsted registered. I live in a cottage in old Town Bexhill.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience in child care. Starting from being a classroom assistant in 2003 where I studied for my N.V.Q level 2 in child care. I then went on to work in a nursery to gain more experience, this lead to a job working in creches around the rother area. It was here that a studied for my Level 3 in child care. I have was then promoted to a senior, in this new role, responsible for running the creches.
I hold a up to date Paediatric first aid certificate. Food hygiene certificate and everyone over 16 years of age living in my house has a Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate.
I have also been on several different training course (certificates can be seen)
I will continue to attend courses which I feel will benefit my child minding business.
I aim to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and progress in their development. I will accommodate this by providing age appropriate toys and resources including lots of messy play ie rice, oats, play dough, shaving foam the list is endless
I will be attending ( with your permission) lots of groups in my area to help build your child's social skills.
My Qualifications
Nvq level 2 and 3 in childcare
First aid and child protection
My Availability
i am available Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
Can drop off and collect from nursery/playgroups and schools close to where i live
Also available for babysitting
I am now a early years education entitlement provider and can offer 15 years free funding for 2, 3. 4 year old depending on my availability
