About Me
Louby’s Playhouse is professional home based childcare based in chard. I employ assistants which means i can provide 9 early years spaces and 9 school age spaces. I have a large playroom and large garden. Our outside space consists of an under cover area and artificial grass making it an all year round accessible area.
We also regularly go out to local toddler groups and take advantage of the local parks and outside spaces for welly walks and picnics.
My Experience
I have spent over 10 years working in nurseries in Taunton and Wellington in supervisory roles within baby units gaining experience with the under 5’s.
I took a break and spent 8 years as a retail manager before I was blessed with children of my own and was able to return to childcare by becoming a childminder in 2012
My Qualifications
I hold a BTEC level 3 in childcare and nursery nursing
I also have 6 GCSE’s At grade C or above.
My Availability
Louby’s Playhouse is open Monday to Thursday 7.45 am till 6.00pm
Fridays 7.45 am till 3 pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.60 per hour
I charge £5.60 per hour for all year round care ( I will close about 6 weeks a year for annual leave )
I charge £6.42 per hour for term time only care.
Every April both rates will increase by at least 10 p per hour.
I accept funding ( currently) but ask for 80 p per hour as a voluntary payment towards outings, subscriptions and sundries
